TEH DISCORD CREW~

Replaying FFVI, up to the first trip to Zozo. This game has held up way better than I thought it would, including the infamous Ted Woolsey script.

I finished up another playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas. Went pro-NCR with a nerd-type character. Put most of my points in science, medicine, and energy weapons and purposefully neglected my speech skill. I played through all of the DLC out so far, and overall I feel they're pretty much the gold standard of what DLC should be.

Dead Money was my favorite by far. I really liked the unique gameplay experience, and the fact that they stripped you of all your equipment at the beginning. It was actually a challenge for my character, and brought back the feeling of having making every bullet and stimpack matter. The characters were all interesting, and the bomb collar idea made all of the interactions really interesting.

Honest Hearts had a great setting and it handled its religious theme better than most games. Zion was a really beautiful area and was a nice change of pace from the Mojave. The main issue I had with it was the quests devloved into simple fetch quests much too often.

Old World Blues was probably my least favorite, simply because I felt there was too much combat. I was constantly being swarmed by cannon fodder enemies pretty much any time I left a building. It was definitely the most fun to explore, though, as pretty much every location in the Big MT had something unique to discover. The over-the-top Portal/Venture Brothers-esque "SCIENCE!" atmosphere led to some genuinelly funny moments, but it also wore thin a bit in places.

I'm really looking forward to Lonesome Road on the 20th, the hooks they've left in the other DLC make it sound like it has the potentially to be really interesting. I'll probably run through it on release with this character and then I kind of want to start a new game as a melee/stealth guy who sides with Mr. House.

Yep, still gaming

I finished Star Ocean 2 last night; after being swamped more than once at some floor in the maze, I gave up and went ahead and finished it; I guess I was over-leveled because my characters were level 120 or so and the boss was a breeze; he didn't have time to do much, honestly. And the ending left me underwhelmed, but great game overall.

All the endings are underwhelming, but that's what happens when you advertise "Over 80 possible endings."

Enjoy the ride, I was in the same situation as you about 3 years ago. Good times.

Guess so!, is there any ending where I get to see the re-encounter between father and son?, because that's what I was waiting for.

Aaaand now, I'm starting to re-play Star Ocean.

Just finished Mass Effect. Gonna play Mass Effect 2, or any other game I should have already played but I haven't. So many games... so little time...

i've finally found another game besides fallout 3 that has me hooked enough to not wanna play anything else: valkyria chronicles. i had my doubts about it at first, but after getting my hands on it i'm loving it.

when i'm not at home i find myself slowly going through ocarina of time 3d's shadow temple.

I have some spoiler knowledge that would prevent that scenario from happening. I could post it, but I'd rather not ruin a 12 year old game (at least the original) for those who haven't played it. If you really want to know, you could PM me on the ancient forum.

~30 hours into Fallout 3, still not sure if I even like it. It feels like doing the same thing over and over again. But Oblivion never did.

Run across dead landscape, run into dead building, shoot everything dead, shaking my head as my pistol explodes heads and sends bodies flying 50 feet, gather the same seven junk items, fast travel back to the one town I've found in 30 hours, don't sell anything because the vendor refuses to get more money, repeat.

trust me, i'm a doctor
