Here are the conversations for that part, if you don't feel like replaying the game to see them.  I'm sad I missed them the first time around.  They're awesome.

Yeah she really is. It's weird, but oddly satisfying to see what she's been up to.

Ah I think you need to romance Liara for it.

What's with Jennifer Hale's delivery of those scenes? So possessive!

For the conversation between Liara and her father? You definitely do not.

Not at all. Just chat with her father and then chat with Liara, who is in the same area.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that realizes the glory that is Eve.

Wait a sec, the Bartender is in ME3? I had no idea! Holy shit!

*runs to turn on the game*

This is what I love about ME3, there are so many possibilities.
I think this alone merits a re-play from me, too.

Not in the face!
The Alpha and the Omega

After finishing the game, here's my beef with ME3 and no, the ending isn't one of them (and don't worry, no spoilers). I hate to rag on this game because in general it and the series are great, but for today's standards in game development:

  • Character's look great, but they are animated horribly. The lip syncing reminded me of the first Half-Life. It's frustrating to see extremely well designed faces with such awful movement.
  • Environment graphics were pretty bad for a 2012 game. The way they "waved" the 2D sprites of groups of people at Purgatory to make it look like crowds in the distance is just laziness.
  • Physics properties were atrcious. Clipping through walls and way your characters responded to objects was awful.
  • The AI in this game was insanely bad. Cerberus troops tossing grenades two feet in front of themselves? Reapers getting stuck on objects and walls?
  • Your squadmates were practically useless in battle. The only real benefit they served were their extra powers. I can't count how many times a squadmate would stand next to me and do nothing while an enemy unloaded weapons fire.
  • Every single woman had the exact same pair of tits. C'mon. Mix it up a little. Give me a variety of jubblies.

I made this for you!

I didn't care for Kai Leng in the game, his looks and fighting mode, I mean. I like the Kai Leng of the books, I respected the heck out of him, I would not be happy to see him around; so dangerous, however, as JSG says, he ended up being this silly ninja guy, it looked completely out of place, same with the robot-girl thingies that run like anime ninjas y made summersaults and backflips all over the place.

The Banshees, however, scared the hell out of me; that scream *shivers*

Banshees are my favorite ME enemies ever.  They just look so damn aewsome.

As for Kai Leng, I couldn't take him seriously when I played the game, and after reading this somewhere, I take him even less seriously.  Slight spoilers up to the last mission:

Spoiler: Move your mouse over the container to reveal.
"And the way he brings a KATANA!!! to gunfights. And the way he seems so proud of himself for trolling Shepardâ??s email. And that during the coup, he proves less of a threat than Udina. And that Miranda completely eludes him off-screen. And the Illusive Man doesnâ??t bother taking him with him when he evacuates his base.

I canâ??t help but see him as the evil Conrad Verner."

I've never read the books so I think I missed out on most of Kai Leng's personality.  He was just Generic Space Ninja to me, when it was clear they WANTED him to be the Anti-Shepard.  They just failed at getting that point across, to me at least.

"Hey, guys, surpressing fire while I go punch the button!  Guys!  ...Guys?"

*backtrack half the level*

*pathfinding algorithm finally catches up*

"Guys, I need... um... tell you what, wait for me back on the Normandy."

Also, if they really want to make an Anti-Shepard, Generic Space Ninja #43 really doesn't cut it.  Make it a character the opposite sex of Shepard, the opposite alignment of Shepard (a Paragon for your Renegade, or vice versa), and just as balls-out stubborn and unstoppable and solidly a good guy... who truly believes that Cerebus is the good guys who have the only way to win (and that Shepard has gone off the reservation and left his/her sanity behind, and is going to get everyone killed if someone doesn't put a bullet in his/her head)

It's been a while since I finished the books, as far as I remember, Kai Leng wasn't working for Cerberus because he belived in the their mission statement, rather, he was an assasin for hire; very professional, very throrough, very cold; he has an asian name, but given that it is stated in the books that everyone is really more of a 'citizen of the world" given that races and countries of origins are so mixed up, that he is called Kai Leng, really doesn't mean much in that context; would I have known before hand that he was going to be featured in the game, never in a million years would I have imagined that they would give him such looks.

I also expected him to be far more difficult to fight; people barely survives an encounter with him, if they do, which is rare; of course, you don't want an invincible character in a game, but you do want him to require some strategy in order to defeat him, or something.

Also
"I canâ??t help but see him as the evil Conrad Verner."

ba-haha, that's perfect!.

Oh God Conrad Verner.  The slow mo dive.

"I... I don't feel anything..."

And then I realized that by saving that bartender waaaaaay back in ME1 I just got Conrade fucking Verner some tail.

Regrets, I have them.

Same here. He was just a mini-boss who annoyed me. Whenever he showed up it was more of an "Oh, it's him *shrug*" kind of reaction.
