I finally watched Redline today. I can see why everyone who has seen it here had been going on about it, the movie was amazing. The animation was out of this world and so incredibily detailed, and the movie itself was just such an intense ride. It really is a must see, especially considering how much anime has stagnated in recent years.

Let's Play Chrono Trigger
Let's Play The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
Let's Play Final Fantasy VI

Trigun is annoying. Vash the Stampede is irritating the shit out of me. Overly goody-too-shoes pacifistic warriors are so out of vogue. Him and Goku should just get never-ending diarrhea and die.

The first episode of Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine was really, really good.

I will be sticking with this series.  The visuals alone are enough to keep me watching.  Really love that artstyle.

I've been in a bit of a classic binge as of late, so I've been watching Revolutionary Girl Utena (don't judge me).

I've only started the Third Arc now, where it truely gets all screwy on you.

For the first time since 2008, I am watching more than one anime at a time.

Lupin and Jormungand are both amazing.

I just watched Another, which was perfect for me. Not too drawn out, yet slow and suspenseful for the most part, at the same time. Lotsa blood, and slightly Final Destinationish, over dramatic death sequences. Love it :D

I'm watching the original Yugioh series, as a part of what is apparently my mid life crisis at 21. Nostalgia is being found everywhere :/

I'm about to start Gosick soon. Mystery shows are so great in anime...even better than the british mystery shows. Miss Marple? Feck off and let the talking doll take over :/
You might have guessed that I have barely any idea what Gosick is about lmao

My most recent 3 let's plays:

Zelda: Oracle of Seasons - Link (Din, Onox, Maku...I'm so funny)
Killer7 (Completed) - Link
Luigi's Mansion (Completed!) - Link

Randomly felt like watching Paradise Kiss again last night, so... I am! I forgot how much I absoluetly loved this show, strange and quirky as it is.

I haven't really watched any new anime since... god, probably 08 was the last time I really tried. Nothing's been able to catch my attention or has been any good since then, but it sounsd like there's recent anime people are watching. Anyone have any good recomendations besides Lupin and Persona? I could use something to watch.

Jormungand if you liked Black Lagoon.  It's pretty similar in tone and themes and a lot of other ways.  If you're not talking about just current anime but new stuff since '08, Panty & Stocking is hilarious and definitely worth a watch.  Other than that, pretty much just Lupin.  I loved Deadman Wonderland from last year, but I'm not sure if it's something you'd enjoy.  Jormungand and P&S, though, I think you should give a shot.

Just finished xxxHolic. I love the art style, and the "moral dilemma of the week" structure, but it suffers from the lack of overall plot and just sort of... ends. It's sort of hard to stay invested in the characters. This was not the case for Tsubasa Chronicle.

Like many anime, it suffered from "the manga is still going" ending syndrome, only rather than make up the rest of teh series, they just ended it (Like Kare Kano, which STILL pisses me off. Pick up the manga if you want more of the story - which, in the manga, crosses over with Tsubasa Chronicle, much of which I'm pretty sure was excised from the anime.

In a way I'm sort of glad? Because the impression I got from the Tsubasa story is that it's huge and pretty fucked up (which usually translates to "confusing and expensive"). I do love the CLAMPiverse, just probably not that much.

Next on the list: Baccano! Because I apparently need to give this one a second chance - everyone seems to rave.

You won't like how xxxHolic ends in the manga, because it... just ends...

Spoiler: Move your mouse over the container to reveal.
To be more exact, it ends with a time skip but no real resolution, but you don't recognize it being a time skip until the very end, which, if you think about it, is a pretty depressing ending.

The Tatami Galaxy is all you need.

And I need to see if there's anything new this season worth watching.

Watching Stein's Gate after reading a few of you giving it high praise.  I have watched the first 3 episodes so far.  I've been enjoying it but still not sure where all the high praise is coming from.
