No answer, must be that deaf bitch.

I did, it still doesn't look great. It looks very washed out and blurred, though I concede that may just be the video quality.

Am I the only one who isn't super impressed with the images that have been released?

Yes, there is obvious improvements... but I guess I'm just used to OLD games being re-done where there is a massive difference.

Crono can cross dimensions too!

That brings up a point I kept forgeting to mention.  I wonder if they will make cutscenes skippable in X now.  I know the speedrunning community would absolutely love that, although they may regret  the countless hours spent watching and mashing through cutscenes before this version.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

I hope so.  Cutscenes should always be skippable.

So if I did a speedrun and beat the community to it by piratating a leaked copy or something, and skipping all cutscenes I would hold the world record for FFX speedrun most likely? for at least a few hours?  I must do this! hahaha

The worst was the 5 minute cutsenes before difficult boss fights that I kept losing.  I never really mastered FFX's Sphere Grid nor did I ever level up on the side, so a couple of the big story fights gave me problems and I had to bare through the same cut scene several times before I got angry and just filled up all of Yuna's Summons (the noob strategy to guarenteed victory?).

Quite possibly, yeah.  Just get those wings to discovery ready to mix trio of 9999.  Might want to watch and make an attempt on PS2 to dust the rust off first though, heh.

One of the Youtube comments was spot on, FF X-2 was a disaster (battle system apart).  Ugh, don't know which part I'm more anxious over playing again, the awful J-pop soundtrack, giving Leblanc a massage or handing out balloons whilst dressed as a moogle.

Seriously though I'm chuffed I get to replay them but doesn't anyone think it strange that by the end of the year these games are once again unplayable on the current generation machine?  S-E should have released it as a PSN title on the PS3/PS4.

Not really. Backwards compatibility is still an uncommon thing, and releases continues well after the next gen of systems comes out. It seems a lot more reasonable, particularly with Square's current financial status, to put the game out on a system with a bigger install base. Plus it may have been in devleopment before they got a PS4 devkit, and it doesn't really seem like the sort of thing worth upgrading to the PS4 or whatever it's version of PSN'll be.

And it's not entirely true that it will be unplayable on current gen.  Unless the Vita is getting a new younger brother, Vita will still be current gen.
