So...Kingdom hearts 1.5...?

Anyone get this?  Any opinions?  I adored Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 - still own them.  I got the GBA game, but just couldn't get into it.  I feel like I'll probably grab this collection used at some point down the line, but just wondering if anyone is into it now - how the new stuff is.

I got it but I'm tying up some loose ends with the Dishonored DLC before playing it, and those DLC's are very HARD!  Can't wait to play Kingdom Hearts again though.

Crono
Crono can cross dimensions too!

I'm not into the KH series, so I'm out on this one; tried it and oddly, it just wasn't for me (really thought it would have been).  This looks like a good package BUT what a lot of people don't know is that the DS 365/whatever game is only the cutscenes from the game... no gameplay.  What a weird way to go.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

I loved the 1st and did enjoy CoM on the DS. I own 365/2 Days and while I haven't played it yet, I don't see myself liking it so much that I'd be willing to sit through straight hours of cutscenes (I can't even do that for Xenosaga).

I bought it when it came out b/c for some reason I really wanted to play some KH. Played through the Destiny Islands part and then remembered the KH story doesn't make a lick of sense. Still trying to decide if I want to keep going.

Haha...I thought the first one mostly made sense.  Then they went off the rails...

True, the first one was pretty coherent. I just remember booting up KH2, only having played KH1 and thinking "Am I supposed to know what is going on here?"

I'm sure I'll play it eventually, and it will be a game that is safe to play with my kids around, unlike almost everything else I play. My daughter will probably be obsessed once she sees a princess in there and will want to play.

Way to go, DS. Pointing out the obvious! Anyway, I picked this up, and it is worth the $40. Especially if you don't have the original. Anway, the original game is the international version called final mix. It just has added cutscenes, enemies and weapons. Otherwise, the only thing updated is the graphics and some of the gameplay (controls and camera). The Chain of Memories game already came out here on the PS2, which looks like the same game to me. And the last one is just cutscenes from a NDS game. Overall it's a pretty good buy. Especially if you can track down the preorder edition from Gamestop. That one comes with a little art booklet in the packaging. I got this over GTA 5, and haven't regretted it any.

Yes. I loved the first game. Then the second game came out, and I thought to myself, "How is this supposed to be a kid's game? I'm in my 20s and can't follow the story." Never been interested in KH since.

KH storyline is more convoluted than trying to connect the zelda games together. If this ones fun to play ill do what I always do and just think " my goal is to smash bad guys who wanna hurt good people" because thats all I need and thats all KH really makes clear that it is about. anything more than that is pure conjecture with all the games and holes in the story.

Got this for Christmas. Enjoyed the 3rd game (whatever it's called) cutscenes. Just started final mix today. But the song in Traverse Town - it's from something right? It's driving me crazy!

Edit: OK. Maybe it isn't an actual song from something else. I think the end of it (before it loops) sounds a lot like the end of a Chrono Trigger song. I think 12000 - I want to say overworld?

I was thinking I'm worse at this game than I used to be. But I guess the final mix difficulty is harder than the old standard difficulty? Probably gonna have some trouble playing on Proud.
