Really? Because it looks and sounds incredibly boring to me. THe most exciting thing is that I get to skip the rest of Mists if I resub with this expansion, but that's literally it. This is even more boring sounding than Panderia, and that's sad.

I'll ignore all the dumb sounding story stuff and just RP in Garrisons all day.

This is the first expansion since Wrath about which I've been sold from day one.

Also I'm probably turning my pandalady tank into a gnome girl tank, the example facial expressions they showed are so damn good.

You know, I was a bit miffed at the whole time travel/alternate universe bullshit...

But this looks AWESOME.  I always hated Outland.  I thought the entiretly of Burning Crusade was HORRIBLE (not a popular opinion, apparently) because the world was designed like shit, the quests were boring, the story was crap, etc etc etc.

This actually looks like fun.  Aside from the Warcraft 2 expansion, we never really got to experience Draenor, and that was a shame.  This will bring it back, and I'm totally excited for it.  I don't even care that there aren't new classes or races.

Admittedly the new character models will easily take the place of a new race, but I am a bit surprised that we don't finally get the opportunity to play Ogres.  I am a tad bit worried that they will take the same route with the model remakes that they did with the Pandaren and basically give everybody the exact same face.  The Pandaren models look great, but looking at exactly the same faces all the time is incredibly boring.

Now, considering how this story is really out of left-fucking-field, and they keep saying they've got a bunch of other expansions lined up after this, and this one will lead directly into the next...what the fuck do they have planned next?  I seriously thought we were going to be doing some Burning Legion, Emerald Dream or the (apparently fake) Dark Below.

Anyway, excited as burning shit with popcorn seeds here.  I just hope we don't have to wait 9 months to a year for it.

Edit: (also, female Gnome, "waaaaaait a miiinute," face is adorable)

I don't even like Gnomes, but that made me want to roll one.

I still want Alliance high elves. :( Probably not going to happen unless they make blood elves faction-neutral like Pandaren and give a face option for blue eyes as opposed to green.

Insert witty remark here.

I'm a little ticked off about the reason Chris Metzen gave for why there hasn't been an emerald dream expansion.  I'm paraphrasing here, but essentially it boils down to the development team not being particularly motivated to do 5-6 zones that are all shades of green.  I heard him say that and really wondered if that was the best bullshit he could come up with on the spot.  I mean, who's to say the Emerald Dream has to be all green?  I mean, it's a dreamscape afterall.

Early preview of the Lv 100 talents. As someone who mains a Death Knight (and a paladin, but more the DK for raiding), I love our Lv 100 talents. NECROTIC PLAGUE!

Yes, that IS a bullshit reason.  The Emerald Dream/Nightmare is, literally, an entire world they can do ANYTHING with.  It doesn't have to be emerald/green, and it only vaguely has to do anything with Azeroth.  If N'Zoth has changed it to his living or dreaming will, they can LITERALLY DO ANYTHING WITH IT.

The creative possibilities are ENDLESS, as long as they can create it within their own system.  I mean they could really let loose and have some fun with it.  The moment they realize that, they could have the best expansion possible on their hands.

That said, I'm still quite excited for this one.  I've always felt the decision to destroy Draenor was a mistake, and many people from Blizzard have admitted it over the years (hell it's the reason they made Outland in the first place).  I feel that this is a really good decision.  What's better is they have an entire whole world to work with at this point.  What we see could just be one continent out of 2, 3, 4, etc.

As to the level 100 talents...I've heard this is the time they're going to actually be doing the stat squish, which, honestly, I'm all for.  Hitting for 200,000+ has been silly to me.  I actually miss the days of increasing my DPS by like 10-20 in Zul'Gurub and BWL.  I don't miss that content, specifically, but the ridiculous scaling of numbers has seemed a bit pointless.  I've heard people make arguments about how they would feel weaker, but it's all about scale.  Playing FF games where max health was 9,999 seemed strange going to Chrono Trigger where max health was 1/10th of that, but really, the smaller scale made increases seem more significant.

I'm all for the stat squish, if it happens.

I love my big numbers, but then one of my favorite RPG's is Valkyrie Profile.

I'm ok with the stat squish as long as content appropriately scales with it. I'm not going to be happy if I can't go through older raids for transmog stuff on my well-geared max level toon solo.

They've already said a while back that they do plan to allow you to crush old content, so no worries there, from what I know.

I'm not saying I'm not looking forward to Warlords of Draenor, cause I am if only just for the opprotunity to explore Draenor.  I'm just a little sick and tired of them ignoring the Emerald Dream, and also the fact that there's Old God corruption just chilling in there.  Honestly, I'm a little surprised there's been no direct Old God fights since Wrath of the Lich King, unless Blizzard considers the fights with the Sha fragments in Mists to kind of fill that in.

Actually, everything about Warlords interests me except that Garrosh is going to be the catalyst that gets everything going.  I don't know how other people feel, but I consider him to be a whiny little bitch and the fact that he's going to play a big part in another expansion kinda gets under my skin.

Yeah, GC just said during the Systems Panel today that they know how popular transmog runs of old content are and they're not going to make it any more difficult. I'll miss big numbers, but it's only an aesthetic thing.

The changes to mechanics and Quality of Life sound fantastic.
