Episode 22 - Chapter 3 Begins!

https://youtu.be/ZH2XyCHBoeo

Hey all, are you ready to make a start on chapter 3? We kick things off by meeting Orran in the Mining Town of Gollund.

---------------------------------------

Mining Town of Gollund Strategy:

- The main boss could be a good first target. He can take down Orran pretty quickly if you let.
- Because of that, heal Orran regularly.
- Orran has a move that will disable/stop all enemies. He will use this for sure. Thing is, it can miss so it may not be perfect.
- Easy enough battle overall, so that's all I can think of to say really.

---------------------------------------

With that done, we have another new location to visit next time. Thanks for watching! :)

My most recent 3 let's plays:

Zelda: Oracle of Seasons - Link (Din, Onox, Maku...I'm so funny)

Episode 23 - A Brother's Mistrust

https://youtu.be/1nNf69HDQPg

Hey all, it's time for us to finally try and convince Zalbag that our family isn't quite sparkling clean and that the war is being controlled from behind the curtains! Saying that, I've always felt like this game could be a play...in the same sort of way FF9 could be one.

We also have a fight at the Royal City of Lesalia, where we have our sis in the battle with us!

--------------------------------------------

Royal City of Lesalia Strategy:

- Alma shouldn't need protecting. She's pretty much useless in this battle though, other than her physical attacks healing you.
- Otherwise, you can either go straight for the priest and beat the battle quick, or kill all the enemies.
- Watch the knights don't destroy your equipment.

--------------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! Still lots more to come :).

Episode 24 - Orbonne Library

https://youtu.be/4g_adTR-91Q

I was planning on chucking all of the Orbonne battles up on the same day, but with other important things going on, I'll have to keep it to a battle per day as usual.

Here comes the first battle in the Orbonne Monastry! It looks like we'll need to kick things off with a death and a battle in the library:

-----------------------------------

Orbonne Library Strategy:

- The dragoons can attack from a distance. Maybe Protect would be good for this.
- Take out the chemist and time mages quick. We all know how much of a pain mages and healers are in FF games.
- Otherwise, there's not much to suggest. If you have trouble with this battle, you should definitely leave and level-grind/get better jobs. It won't be getting any easier.

-----------------------------------

Thanks for watching! We'll head further into the monastery next time :)

Episode 25 - Isilud The Dragoon

https://youtu.be/G87A8Bfll8w

Hey all, here comes our fight against Isilud, and we'll just say that he has a party that fully functions with the environment we're stuck in.

-----------------------------------------------

Isilud (Orbonne Monastery) Strategy:

- The summoner and archers are trouble. They don't need to worry about the maze at all to hit you. Heal up often.
- Isilud is a dragoon with a huge range. Going for him straight away would be handy, but hard.
- Otherwise, Flare is good for taking down one or two enemies, while powerful fighters are also good.
- You could copy his strategy and get loads of ranged characters to win. Up to you.

-----------------------------------------------

This was a tough fight! But now it's done and we can head further into the monastery. Next time! Thanks for watching ;).

Episode 26 - Scriptures Of Germonique

http://youtu.be/BXOpavDd9-4

Hey all, here's a short battle to finish off the Orbonne Monastery! The battle itself is simple.

---------------------------------------------

Wiegraf (Orbonne Monastery) Strategy:

- Just go straight for Wiegraf with your best spells and ranged attacks.
- He'll come in through the door anyways, so you can just go for him then.
- Don't let the battle even start. Those mages will cause trouble for you if you do.

---------------------------------------------

This episode is less about the battle though and more about the plot. It looks like Alma has been kidnapped! *Shock shock gasp gasp*. You see, Isilud is still alive and thought he'd nab her. We can't give chase though 'cause of Wiegraf (hence the battle).

Otherwise, we meet a new character who is threatening us to hand over the scriptures of germonique that we got from Father Simon a few episodes back. We need to trade them for Alma! They must be important...

Thanks for watching! We'll make a start on the journey towards the next castle next time! :)

Episode 27 - Grogh Heights

https://youtu.be/TBFnQjZvfF0

Hey all, are you ready for the battle at Grogh Heights? It's a simple little battle that doesn't take long.

---------------------------------

Grogh Heights Strategy:

- This all depends on your party. Anything will work really.
- Take out the chemists early on so they can't use phoenix downs.
- There's really not a lot else I can say...

---------------------------------

Keep an eye out for the FMV added onto the end. It's really nice and reminds me a lot of that one cinematic in FF9, where Dagger is up singing in Lindblum Castle and Zidane interrupts her. The bird effects are very similar too.

Thanks for watching! I'll see you next time for Yardrow ;).

Episode 28 - Sibling Rivalry

https://youtu.be/IBfr1pVPegQ

Hey all, this is all about the battle between Rapha and Marach (though obviously we're gonna stick our noses in too).

--------------------------------------

Yardrow Strategy:

- Watch out for those summoners! They can both heal and deal decent damage in wide areas.
- Watch out for the ninjas too! Dualwield is deadly, as we know.
- Marach can cast spells that hit multiple times. Might want to aim for him first.

--------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! We'll carry on towards the castle next time :).
--------------------------------------

Episode 29 - Forest Of The Dead

https://youtu.be/A_TA5coOduk

Hey all, here's another battle that's unique to the PSP version. It's only quick and simple, but it's interesting regardless.

Along with that battle we head into the Yugue Wood and beat off some of the undead that were left over from ye olde war that we keep hearing about.

--------------------------------------

Yugue Wood Strategy:

- Look out because if you let an enemy be dead for 3 turns here, they'll come back to life. You need to be quick!
- Those ghosts can teleport anywhere on the map. Can't really defend your mages when they can attack from a range either.

--------------------------------------

That's about it really. Not a tough battle so long as you can deal decent damage quickly.

Thanks for watching! We're finally going for the castle tomorrow! Be afraid lmao.

Episode 30 - Who Is Riovane?

https://youtu.be/vBpxZMCdgpI

Hey all, we've made it to Riovanes Castle! This first battle can be tricky if you let it be.

--------------------------------------------

Riovanes Castle Gate Strategy:

- If your little Rapha goes down, her brother will go down too! You could just kill her off, 'cause she's pretty useless anyway. Y'know, if you're a damn sadist.
- Those archers will be a pain right through the battle 'cause they're so high up and have huge range. Might be worth going for them and ignoring the knights until later?
- The knights will deal big damage and break equipment though (what else is new?). Look out.

--------------------------------------------

Battle over! Thanks for watching! We'll head into the castle next time...and dear god will it be fun :/.
--------------------------------------------

Episode 31 - Belias, The Gigas

https://youtu.be/c7CXA5gg_sA

Ohhhhh, dear lord. This is possibly the toughest battle in the entire game. Tricky is not the word for it! For you see...Wiegraf is ready to transform into Belias.

--------------------------------------------

Belias Strategy:

- When you fight Wiegraf, make Ramza a dragoon and jump a lot. The greater the distance you can make when jumping the better. He can't counter this way and he'll need to chase you.
- When fighting Wiegraf as Belias, you'll need to deal huge damage. Get those Holys Flares, Dualwield attacks etc on the go!
- I'm not sure if it's best to kill his minions first or not. As you can see in the vid, I'm no expert at this battle. May be worth just focusing on Belias?
- Raise isn't that helpful, nor is a phoenix down, because they can just take that character back down right away. Huge range of attack, y'know?

--------------------------------------------

If you need more help with this battle, give me a shout. I'll try and help. If you reeeeally can't win, it may be worth level grinding.

Thanks for watching! We'll finish off the castle tomorrow, ja? ;)

I'm aiming to finish this series before the 19th September, so let's get cracking with 3 episodes today!

Episode 32 - Marquis On The Roof!

https://youtu.be/mOUX-V1_xww

Hey all, here's the last of Riovanes Castle, the sibling portion of the game and chapter 3! The battle itself isn't hard so long as you focus on just one enemy instead of spreading out. We find that out the hard way...

-----------------------------------------------

Riovanes Castle Roof Strategy:

- Focus solely on one enemy. Whichever you prefer. Once one is defeated, you win :).
- Don't bother healing. You won't be around long enough for it to really matter. Reviving is a different matter...maybe.
- Most powerful attacks! Go go go!

-----------------------------------------------

So with the Marquis defeated for the first time and a set of new villains introduced, we're done! Thanks for watching! We'll start the final chapter (chapter 4) next time :).
-----------------------------------------------

Episode 33 - The Final Chapter!

https://youtu.be/QVxoXTHZmK4

Ok, so this one is really short. That's why this has been uploaded on a day with two other episodes ha. The start of chapter 4 isn't full of action or anything as you'd expect, but just a quick simple battle.

----------------------------------------------

Dageura Pass Strategy:

- Ummm, just take them out. The mages first. We all know that they can be gits sometimes by this point.
- Dragoons can attack from a distance and do big damage. A flare and an attack will finish them off though.

-----------------------------------------------

And that's it really. Don't worry, the battles will become tougher.

Thanks for watching! The free city of Bervenia is next! :)
-----------------------------------------------

Episode 34 - Meliadoul's Vengence

https://youtu.be/T-R5sfqRaiQ

Hi! The Free City of Bervenia is our way of kicking off episode 34! What we have here is a new character, once again: Meliadoul.

-----------------------------------------------

Meliadoul Strategy:

- She deals huge damage and destroys equipment at the same time! Focus entirely on her and win the battle ASAP!
- Reviving may be a common thing in this battle, y'know?
- Flare, dualwield, Jump etc etc. Your best moves.

-----------------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! We'll be seeing more of her as we carry on. See you next time :).

Episode 35 - Chocobo Assault!

https://youtu.be/nbTYUsXENNU

Hey all, are you ready to take on Finnath Creek?

--------------------------------------------

Finnath Creek Strategy:

- This battle is slightly randomised. The types of bocos you come across vary so there's that.
- The yellows should go down first. They can heal, after all.
- The other bocos will deal huge damage. Try to be quick.
- The enemy levels will be based on your highest party member, even if they aren't fighting in this battle! Careful sirs and madams...

--------------------------------------------

Easy enough so long as you use your strongest members. Level grinding won't work, so changing classes may be needed.

That's about it for this episode. There's a bit involving Ovelia and Delita which is quite nice :). Thanks for watching!
--------------------------------------------

Episode 36 - Confessions Of A Confessor

https://youtu.be/iCMMhujKges

We've made it to Zeltennia Castle! There's a really nice cinematic revolving around Delita and Ramza meeting in secret in church. Of course, it's not a secret for long with Confessor Zalmour lurking on the rooftop...

--------------------------------------------

Confessor Zalmour Strategy:

- Yay, we get to fight with Delita as a guest again! Love it when you get a good guest. He's pretty damn amazing too.
- If you have high enough jump, you can just take out Zalmour in a couple of moves.
- Thing is, his faith can go so low that magic won't affect him (ironic for someone so religious?)
- Otherwise, just take out the enemies as you scale the building. This battle shouldn't pose too much of a problem :).

--------------------------------------------

With him taken care of, we need to head off to our next destination! Next time ;). Thanks for watching!

Episode 37 - Kefka's Copycat!

http://youtu.be/CAEGDQh-6E0

Hey all, a quick battle in the Beddha Sandwaste today :).

------------------------------------------------

Beddha Sandwaste Strategy:

- Barich is the only enemy that needs killing, so go straight for him if you fancy it.
- You'll be poisoned from the get go and I'm not sure if it can be removed during the battle. Watch out for this and heal often. Lifefont is a great counter-measure.
- Otherwise, just fight like usual. It's no the hardest battle in the game.

------------------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! More to come ;).

------------------------------------------------

Episode 38 - Meet Cid

http://youtu.be/M0uu3aLPMQI

Hey all, this is a slightly longer episode that revolves around two battles at Fort Besselat. You actually get a choice for the first battle, and we go for the south wall.

-------------------------------------------

Fort Besselat South Wall Strategy:

- Ok, so we take the option without the dragoons looming down on us. Look out for the ninjas throwing things.
- The enemies are higher up, so characters with Jump+1/+2 could be good.
- Heal a lot and take them down one at a time. It's not too bad, this one.

-------------------------------------------

We then head onto battle number two, which is the sluice.

-------------------------------------------

Fort Besselat Sluice Strategy:

- There are two ways of going about this. You can either put a character on each switch at the top of the sluice (either end) and finish the battle straight away.
- Or you can take on all the enemies and win it that way. Look out for the black mages and archers in this case. They're higher up.

-------------------------------------------

There's a Cid in every FF huh? Well here's where you can grab this one. Orlandeau is also called Cid (though not when you get him as a unit). He's incredibly powerful and someone we'll be making a lot of use of for the rest of the game. Shame we have to lose a unit for him though.

Thanks for watching! We'll have to aim for the next new location next time ;).

-------------------------------------------
Episode 39 - Aeris' Cameo!

https://youtu.be/pbzXDTp42jA

Hey all, we make a tonne of progress in this one episode! We meet Aeris (from FF7) in the trade city of Sol Ghidos, which is my favourite part of this vid personally.

We then head onto Mount Germinas for a quick battle. Cid really is a powerhouse, huh? Finally, we head into Lake Poescas for another quick battle. Neither of these two battles are tough so I'll leave the strategies out this time. Just go all out and if you get stuck, make Cid do all the work ;).

Thanks for watching! :)
----------------------------------------------

Episode 40 - The Ultimate Twins

https://youtu.be/rNd_vFurzuc

'ello again! The battle at Limberry Castle Gate is pretty damn hard. You need to...

----------------------------------------------

Limberry Castle Gate Strategy:

- Head for a twin as soon as possible. If one dies, they both die (or escape...).
- Watch out for poison and petrify (or stone). That can screw you over. Esuna and gold needles sort this out.
- Spread your characters out a bit so they can't be hit by their Ultima; a really powerful spell.
- Speaking of Ultima, Ramza can learn it if he is a squire and survives being hit by it. Or something like that.

----------------------------------------------

Battle done! Of course, the Marquis is still plotting. Nothing new there!

Thanks for watching! I now know that there will be 48 episodes total to this series so we're closing in on the end now. Pretty rapidly too :).

Episode 41 - Our Dead Friend

https://youtu.be/lWBRMS6UO6U

Hey folks, after beating the ultimate twins back at the Limberry Castle Gate, we're now gonna head into the keep! We actually end up fighting the twins again along with the Marquis.

I don't think a real strategy is needed for this one because everyone is just so close together and easy to deal huge damage to. Killing the Marquis is all you need to do though, so you may as well go for that if you're fine on exp.

We also take on the Inner Court, which shows a very old friend but in a very different light! Just take out the demons along the way to him and then gang up on the boss. He can heal himself in the same way that Cid does so ganging up is necessary really.

Thanks for watching! We'll head further in next time :).
--------------------------------------------
Episode 42 - Last Chance Saloon

https://youtu.be/G1fT6Eim-k0

Hey again, it's time for us to finish off Limberry Castle! The undercroft has us take on the Marquis of  Elmdore for the last time, as he transforms into Zalera, the Death Seraph!

--------------------------------------------

Zalera Strategy:

- Ignore the other enemies unless you can kill like 2 or 3 in one hit from a spell (or with Cid). Just go straight for Zalera.
- Meliadoul will be around to take care of the enemies behind you so don't worry about them.
- Powerful moves. Jump, Doublehand, Flare, Holy etc.

--------------------------------------------

We also gain a new character if we want to use her: Meliadoul! Her Save The Queen sword that she comes equipped with is slightly less powerful than Cid's but it gives the wielder auto-protect so it's really great. A dark knight can equip it, if you get around to using one of those.

Thanks for watching! :)

Episode 43 - Family Feud

https://youtu.be/QbOTJX2zqto

Hey all, it's time for us to take on Eagrose Castle, which unlike other castles only has one battle in the keep. Thing is, it's one of the most exciting battles, with Dycedarg, Zalbag and Ramza all raring to go for a war!

---------------------------------------------

Dycedarg Strategy:

- During phase one, ignore the knights. Just go straight for Dycedarg...it'll be easy this way.
- During phase 2, all your best attacks and keep everyone completely separated. He has an attack that deals major damage on a huge range.

---------------------------------------------

That's about it for this episode! With problems within the family (a wee bit of an understatement), we know things are gonna kick off a bit more now. See you then! :)

---------------------------------------------
Episode 44 - Zalbag At Mullonde

https://youtu.be/VOOvuAPk9EI

Hello again, here comes the whole of Mullonde! There are three battles here. The first is around the cathedral, where the white mage is the only real threat.

The second battle is in the cathedral nave. This battle is easy enough. Just kill off one of them and you're sorted.

The third and final battle in Mullonde is where we see the return of Zalbag. Best to just go for the boss character in this case. The other enemies should be killed if they're one hitters though. Look out for the zombie ailment!

Thanks for watching! We'll be heading to the last location next time, which will last 4 more episodes! That'll be the last of the series too, so we're almost there! ;)

Episode 45 - Orbonne Monastery

https://youtu.be/MZSOEtBAZQ0

Hey all, it's time for us to enter the final area, so this is the 1st of the final 4 episodes!

This time around we have 2 battles. First off is a minor fight against just a few enemies. If you're an ok level, you should be able to make it through this battle fine.

The 2nd battle is against Loffrey from a few battles back. Just go straight for him and there's no reason to be stuck. If you're stuck on the battles already, I would just say go back and level grind a bit/get better job setups. It's only gonna get tougher ;).

Thanks for watching! See you next time when we head deeper in.
-----------------------------------------------------

Episode 46 - Barach's Magical Gun

https://youtu.be/6tP42QP0EPg

Hello, here's another couple of battles within the Orbonne Monastery...or I guess it's not there anymore. The battle at the necrohol of Mullonde is simple enough. At least...you should see how it pans out for us :/. The battle at the Lost Halidom is slightly tougher and probably the hardest battle down here. The enemies deal huge damage, so jumping across the gap is probably the best bet. Go straight for the main man: Barach! Look out of his gun.

Thanks for watching! The last two episodes will be going up tomorrow and involves the last bosses, plot and credits :).

Episode 47 - The Ultimate Last Battle

https://youtu.be/TvCMWGUE3FE

Hey all, here comes the last 3 fights! The Airship Graveyard kicks things off with a fight against Folmarv's transformation: Hashmal! This guy hits heavily, but spread your characters out a bit and you'll be fine. Use all your MP too, if you use mages.

2nd is Ultima, who is really easy. Go all out, but watch your mp, because it won't be restored for battle 3. Make sure to revive when someone dies.

Finally, we take on Ultima again but it's a bit tougher now. Well, it hits harder but is really slow. Go all out regardless of mp!

Thanks for watching! We'll check out the end cinematics and credits next time ;).
------------------------------------------------

Episode 48 - Thanks For Watching! ~FIN~

https://youtu.be/kBmLNo6h7sc

Welcome to the grand finale! This episode has the end cinematics, lots of plot and credits. Look out for the plot after the credits too...it doesn't end before then.

Thanks a lot for watching! It's been a long old series, but y'know...it happens!

I'm heading off on holidays starting the 19th September until the 1st October, so there won't be any more vids until I get back. Well...there may be a vlog or something. Or something else. Thanks again! See you in a wee while! :)

P.S. Look out for my streams. Follow me on Twitch to be emailed when I'm starting a stream. I stream pretty much anything people want, that I own or can grab for cheap. My twitch is:
