^ You can import DA2.

I was hoping that the rumor of it looking bad on PS3/360 were exaggerated, oh well.

Character models might actually look better in DA2 than Inquisition. Playing last night, the texture issues did pop up nearly as much.

I can't get over the size of the regions. I'd heard they were about the size of DA:O alone, and I'd say BioWare was right. The Hinterlands is massive, with so many side quests to do and things to discover. I just got a horse, which will help in traversing, but honestly I prefer to run around on foot.

As Cabs mentioned, jumping was unexpected but a great addition. Now I can bunny hop up hils like in Skyrim. it takes away a lot of the annoyances with getting around in the previous DA games (well, all BioWare games really).

The small font, even on my 42" TV, is brutal. My eyes aren't exactly the strongest and I normally sit close to the TV anyway, but I've skipped reading some of the notes, letters, and lore because it hurts to read.

I'm 6-7 hours in, but I can already see this game will consume my free time for a while. Again, complaints aside I'm loving it.

Jumping! Every RPG with a focus on exploration should have jumping.

That's misleading. I've looked all over the title screen and I do not see any way for me to "import saves" from past games. What it does is pull up the data from your Origin account from EA servers. Or you can use the Keep. Unless I am missing something. I'm playing the PS3 version.

Have it on PS4. Only really done the tutorial so far.

Yes, tiny text is terrible, even on HD tv. I'm so afraid of missing looting bodies, chests, and the potion restock just because the chests are barely highlighted and the LOOT (X) prompt is so tiny.

I was talking specifically about the Keep. As long as you used your Origin accounts for DA:O and DA2, it should have synced to the server and yes, you can import into the Keep. You can't import any game saves directly into Inquisition, only the world state that you create and export to DA:I.

^Thats like calling a platypus a beaver-duck. =P

It's just a really backwards online drm way to do it. They didn't take any time to program any way to pull flags from the previous games. I'm not complaining, it's just that not everyone is privileged to be connected to the internet at home. So yeah, I'm missing out. It is a minor annoyance though.

Sweet Jeebum, the animations on the PS3 are bad!, the sound skips, Cassandra skips, the panning skips... and the other girl that talked to me had her head coming out of her clothes, this is bad, bad, bad, PS2 Nocturne looks far better than this.
Let's hope I can overlook this, but I'm miffed that I was dumb enough to pre-order an EA/Bioware game again.

Let's hope that they fix the bugs with an update. My PS3 already crashed once while simply talking to Cassandra. The clipping is pretty bad with the character models.

I'm honestly sitting here on my way to check on Amazon's return policy (which I remember isn't all that good on games) because as fun as the game might be, it's just unfinished, I have serious trouble distinguishing things, so bad are the graphics,so much they pop, it's insulting.Plus I can't read anyting, you guys have trouble? try reading anything in this game being in yor mid-forties
So far, I'm happy to be in Dragon Age's world again and I haven't played all that much, so I'm giving it a couple more days, but I don't know, the chances of keeping it don't look well (no pun intended).

Okay, the brunette girl that appears on one cutscene DISAPPEARED while talking on said scene, I just wached a guard walk into a low wall and stay there, head sticking out of the wall, and two of my teammates just walked up to the top of a tent and stood there like nothing, there is a purple pixelated line on the floors of small buildings, NPCs appear and disappear randomly around me, this within what, two hours of gameplay?
And seriously, I'll risk appearing like a graphics you-know-what, but the graphics are unnaceptable, I don't care what the excuse is.
It's going back, it's geting a bad review online, shame on me for falling for this company again, this is the last ime, though.

YEEEEEAAAH!

Seems like the game's buggy on multiple platforms. I'm running it on My Alienware 17 laptop and the game will run at 60 frames per second right up until it needs to load anything. That's when the game comes to a screeching halt and the audio staggers on the last NPC dialogue line until 2 seconds later when it's finally decided to work again.

This problem is multiplied any time the scene has multiple angles, near the beginning there's a scene with birds flying off and I could've sworn the computer was going to ready itself for interstellar flight with the sound coming from the fans.

Wow. The bugs are bad. I've seen several already. I'm 16 hours in and just encountered a game-breaking bug involving recruiting a character in Redcliff. It's a good thing that I have multiple hard saves...

Most of the big publishers have really stumbled this year with their releases. Microsoft/Halo Collection, Activision/CoD Advanced Warfare, and Ubisoft/AC Unity are plagued with them. I guess we can add EA/DA Inquisition to the list!

They really have to release a patch ASAP.

I haven't experienced any of the nasty bugs you guys have (yet), but so far the only one that's been getting to me is that, sometimes, when exiting out of the menu (either the start menu or the poitions menu) the sound will get muffled and the voices won't play until I got back and exit out of the menu.

Lucky you! :(
But to be honest, even if it worked for me, I wasn't sold on the combat style, why give me the option to be a ranged fighter if
a) I won't be able to see anything, so far away everything is and
b) I get torn to pieces in my weak elf acher set up by being forced to get close to the rifts or whatever to close them?. And the button mashing/button constantly pressed thing, oy!.
