The King's orders are absolute

Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's novel, Good Omens,  has been adapted for radio and has been playing this week on BBC Radio 4. For those who haven't read the book, the story is mainly about an angel and a demon who, after growing comfortable existing on earth since the beginning of mankind, partner up to prevent the coming apocalypse at the hands of the Antichrist. It's a dark comedy that is very clever and well-written, and this radio adaption is no exception.

You can listen to it for free for a limited time on BBC Radio 4's website. The final episode will be available sometime on the 27th. Check it out if you're interested, I recommend it.

Salazar
Still here...

Been meaning to check this one out. It's also well worth tracking down the brilliant adaptation of Gaiman's Neverwhere from last year. It's cast includes James McAvoy, Natalie Dormer, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anthony Head, Bernard Cribbins, and Christopher Lee.

Nelfichu
I've been there, hombre.

Yep, seconding Salazar's recommendation on Neverwhere from last year, it was great.

I've listened to the first 3 and a half parts of Good Omens, and so far it's pretty good. Sometimes it's a little confusing/goofy, though, like the Tibetans coming up from the ground. WTF was that about? Was that caused by Adam, or did I miss something?
