It'll be a middle-aged white guy.

Though they should just hand it over to a rotation of each of their correspondants because each of them are fucking great.

The King's orders are absolute

I'm still missing the Colbert Report so this news is biting harder than it would have on its own. Jon Stewart was basically my gateway into really looking at, and caring about, what goes on in the country and the world as a whole. I'm assuming they will have Jason Jones assume the role of host, he just seems like the most likely candidate out of the more active correspondants, even if there are others who could probably do the job better. It definitely won't be the same without Jon Stewart though.

Let's Play Chrono Trigger
Let's Play The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
Let's Play Final Fantasy VI

Dammit, Jaran! Stop stealing my topic ideas. =D

Comedy Central doesn't really have anything else that I want to watch now. First Colbert Report, and now this. I really liked the satire news shows, too. MSNBC can be entertaining once in awhile, but I can only stand so much gun control topics and LGBT rights shoved down my throat.

Time to pack it in, I suppose.

At least we have John Olliver.

And by John Olliver, I mean post-broadcast youtube clips of John Olliver.

Man that would be awesome.  She's definitely the best of the bunch.

Fuck Shit Stack.

I am really saddened by this. But I'm sure there will be a carefully thought out vetting process for the replacement host. You can't just put anyone there especially if you want to keep your same audience. It's going to take a while for people to get used to a new daily show host and the nightly show, which I think has really good potential. But man am I going to miss Jon Stewart. I don't think I've missed a single episode in the past 5 years.

TV executives aren't as risk-averse, unimaginative, and simple-minded as to make that the only possibility.

I mean, it might be a 30-something white guy!

Even liberal-minded Comedy Central already has their quota black guy now that Colbert is gone.

[edit] That's "quota black guy" not "quote 'black guy'".  Thanks, keyboard.
