Color me "hopefully optimistic". This seems like it is a mobile game like All The Bravest. I've been trying to keep up with their latest FF mobile releases, and this looks like the first of a few coming out this year. I'll probably get it because this is my crack. What do you guys think?

It's you guys' fault
I put my email in and it said I had to do Facebook stuff to get the little bar to go up. Unfortunately I reject Facebook in principle...
But yeah it looks like they took all the sprite assets from All the Bravest and decided to try to make a real game out of it. Only question at this point is how much of a mobile game it is.

I'll probably still be too busy puzzling with my dragons when this hits, but I may give it a download.

I actually really love the sprite work for ATB, so that's a plus for me. I wish they had used that instead of the new stuff for FF V and VI mobile. If it plays a little bit more like FF Dimensions instead of a rub the screen simulator, I think I'll be happy. What little bar are you talking about? Can you explain?

I'm having a lot of fun with this. I finished all of the regular dungeons they've released so far; 20ish split between FFIV, V, VI, VII, and X. You're progressing through the actual story of the game. My party right now is me, Cloud, Wakka, Kain, and White Mage. The other unlockable characters to this point are Bard, Black Mage, Rydia, and Ranger. I wanted to have Rydia in my group, but the party heal special ability for the White Mage is very much a necessity.
At this point, I'm grinding to try and level up so I can try the Elite dungeons (same as the normal ones, just with tougher enemies and such). It's honestly one of the better Freemium games I've played. There isn't much you can get with actual money anyway. It's a bit of a chore to upgrade weapons and create/unlock abilities, but that's mostly due to how much gil everything costs. So for now I'll grind away.
Grinding is still fun, which I rarely ever say, but having the actual music from each game helps a lot, especially the battle music. This is my new crack. *waits for stamina to refill to start playing again*

How are you playing already? Do you have the Japanese version?

There was a soft release for Android devices in Canada last week. I don't know if it's available anywhere else. I know it's not available for iOS yet.

It is up in the US App Store now. I had to find it from a toucharcade link for some reason.

The game is pretty cool so far. I don't know why everyone is saying that the stamina bar is so horrible. By the time you empty it, it's time to take a break from games and do something with your life, anyway!
I have noticed that ever since downloading it, it consumes a lot of battery power. Moreso than any other game I have had on my GS5.

Really? I haven't had any issues with my S5. I love that it uses so little data though. When I'm not on wifi I can play all I want knowing it's not going to kill my data. I have no issues with the stamina bar either. Make sure you're running the daily dungeons. They've been huge in getting gear upgraded and such.

Finally got it. It is pretty fun. Right now I mainly use Tidus, Kain, Cloud, Rydia and Black Mage. I generally do enough damage that I don't have to worry about curing often, although the bosses do seem to be getting harder. Still no Buster Sword yet, though :/

I'm using Tidus, Kain, Cloud, Wakka, and White Mage. On the higher difficulties, the Prayer soul break from WM is too valuable.

A new event has started. It runs through the 12th and you can add Tifa and Sephiroth to your party. The base enemies all have around 500-600 hp. My party is in the mid-30s level-wise so I've just been able to turn auto on, except for bosses.

Tifa get!
Man I'm not even level 20 and I was still able to auto through most of the first 30. I think it's because those home team stat boosts are so silly. I stuck an upgraded Icebrand on Cloud and he's swinging for like 750 with normals. Stuck body slam on him too for lols. Anyway I've spent more time in the mana daily getting orbs.

This is the first day I haven't touched the daily dungeon. I should finish the FFVII one tonight and grind for a bit before I crash tonight.
