Picked up Aliens: Infestation for DS today. Interesting game, but damn hard. The gameplay kind of reminds me of Shadow Complex what with the cover mechanic and such.

The controls are a little clunky, what with having to touch the screen to change weapons and b/w the weapons and map screen.

It's hard, but then again it's a WayForward game, so maybe I should have expected it? I lost two of my marines to the alien queen in what I guess amounts to the training mission stage.

It feels like Aliens, kind of with some Metroid/Shadow Complex thrown in. Interesting, not sure how I really feel about it yet.

Rise of Nightmares.  I haven't had the chance to play it yet, but I've heard the controls suck.

This is in my pipeline.  I played about 5 minutes of it but not enough to actually get to fighting.  I've heard very mixed words from people.  Either love or strong dislike but mostly love.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

Picked up Space Marine on OnLive today since it was only a dollar. Supremely disappointed to see that they haven't added multiplayer or co-op yet, but it was $1. I can live with it.

Don't worry, I'm just watching you.

Grabbed this weird rhythm/RPG hybrid on Steam (port from Xbox Live Indie game) called Sequence. It plays like DDR meets Dragon Warrior (I) meets total mindfuck with a healthy serving of sarcastic banter and great voice acting.

Completely worth the US$5 if you're willing to try it.

Big Tall
Taller Than Tall

Bought Rocksmith Monday and picked up a Yamaha Pacifica to wail away on. As much as I've enjoyed Rock Band/Guitar Hero, I'm psyched to finally have something that will help me learn how to play an actual guitar. Whee!

Based on reviews it has it's pros and cons.  The biggest most rotten con is that you can't control the difficulty so as soon as you do well on a song the game makes it harder and changes notes/patterns on you.

I want to try it out if mainly for the amps and pedals you get access too but I'm not paying full price for this.  Here's hoping rental places give you the needed cord.
