First look at FF Record Keeper

Heroic is meant for level 50-65 characters, apparently (Japan has the increased levvel cap). I like the challenge, but wow it's difficult.

I like the elite difficulty for the Rinoa event. Apparently the last few stages are 99 difficulty. For reference, the hardest stage to this point is Dryl's Tomb, which is 67.

I don't have too hard of a time on the Rinoa Elite dungeons so far. Of course, I'm only up to the third dungeon. I was about to do more, but the new dungeons dropped, so I stopped to do that. I got Warrior of Light, Gordon (II) Luneth, and Snow out of the deal. I got them to level 30 with the exp dungeon daily today. So now the stamina cap is 100. I also pulled Cyan and Tyro's character weapons on a relic draw, so I'm happy. Gotta wait til Tuesday to level those up.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the game so far. It's very addicting. I'm eagerly waiting for the update in which they add in record materia. Apparently, it's the only way to level your characters past 50.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see when they implement those. I believe it's an FFV event starting tonight.

I haven't touched the Rinoa event in ages. I'm trying to beat the elite Deling Sewer Exit dungeon, but it's incredibly hard to master. I really want those Angel Wings, but I probably won't be able to. I can't complain though. It's a freemium game, and one of the very best out there.

I've been focusing on the daily events to create and hone abilities. So many things to do...

It's you guys' fault

I haven't gotten a single five star weapon T___T I'm starting to think about paying them actual money dollars.  Also I'm not nearly as far as you guys are, I only have 70 stamina right now.  Still I'm pretty okay with my pace.  I got a few people up to 50, which is supposed to be helpful in a later update.

I have very few 5* items. Maybe 5-6 and most are armor. I lucked out getting Dark Cecil's sword, and his sou break with that is so good.

Anyway, the FFV event is a great chance to catch up a bit. Grind away and get orbs you need to make and hone abilities. Also, the actual items they have up for grabs (for cheap too) can be upgraded to 4 and 5*.

I kind of wish Mirage Dive was as crazy awesome in FF6 as it is in this. (I don't have Locke's weapon but I've sure spammed his character summon thing.)

I've been playing almost every day since release. It's crazy addicting. With the Sephiroth reissue, I have all the characters released so far. I have 26 five star relics, and 3 crafted 6 stars. Also, 25 out of the 39 are level 50 or above. 106 stamina, and I haven't even cleared all the elite dungeons yet. Out of the FFVI characters, I have everybody's relic except for Locke. I'm trying to max everything out. The only thing I really need now is the Ranger's memory crystal and a couple of the record materias from the others.

I have all but 2-3 of the named characters to 50+. I'll have to grind the core characters on Sundays so I can use their memory crystals.

The game is definitely addicting. I love how they reissue characters so new players don't really miss out. Fair to say it's the best F2P mobile game out there? Certainly feels like it.

Add me to your friend lists. My code is zGzs. I rotate my characters every week. Right now I'm rocking Cyan with his lv 6 SB. The name is Fifan VI. We can get an FFO group going, if you guys want to.

I keep running out of time on Sundays to grind and I've only got a few 5* and one 6*. As a result I'm having trouble with the elite event bosses.

ie,  the Oilboyles and Norg, I should be able to wreck them with Carbuncle and RW Rune Blade, but Norg always gets lucky and psycho blasts my death caster before his pod opens.

Regardless, this game is crazy addicting and its awesome. The RW system is so abusable; matching a powerful SB with a character with great stats can be devastating.

So it looks like I'm going to dive into this as soon as I replace my dead phone. Any advice for starting?

Mythril, the games big currency, isn't nearly as rare as you think. I on't use it to refresh stamina, but it's very useful for expanding your inventory. You sart with 100 slots, get +5 for each myrthil spent. I'm around 200 now.

Only craft and hone the abilities you need. Orbs are very plentiful (from normal on down), but grinding them can be an absolute pain. Especially if you need that one ability to help clear a dungeon.

Don't worry about not having a certain character that's been released. They've re-released characters throguh events, with the bonus that if you already have them, you get an item to help levelling.

As far as your party goes. The character you start with is a jack of all trades. Tyro can use anything. This also means his not overly powerful. The "core characters" (fighter, white mage, etc) can serve a purpose early on, but replace them as soon as you can. They just aren't very good and can't take much of a hit.

Always go into the "dungeon info" section before starting the dungeon to check for the weaknesses you'll need to score well. You're ranked in medals by a number of criteria. Obviously, the better you do the better the rewards.

That's all I can think of right now.

Another note on Mythril: You can pull for one item between 3* and 5* for 5 mythril. You can do a three pull for 15. If you use 50, you get 11 items instead of 10. RNGesus hates me, so I generally stick to the three pulls.

Hold has a 1% chance of working due to a coding error. Literally 1%. Don't get it.

When Mastery requirements say a boss needs to get hit with poison attacks, they mean poison-elemental, not poison the status. So yes: Bio. No: Poison, Venom Buster.

Get one of each Break, priority on Power Break, then Magic Break, then Armor Break, then Mental Break. They come in handy.

Intimidate, Bladeblitz, Quake, Berserk all particularly handy to get.

Summons mostly not worth it unless you get them for free (or the incredibly cost effective Dragon).

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR QUESTS.

My friend code is 92DM - right now it's PLD Cecil with Radiant Wings, sometimes I swap it out for Sephiroth/Shadow Flare.

Bladeblitz and Quake are absolutely essential for clearing trash mobs. It takes a bit to level them, but few skills are worth more or could be considered more valuable.

Oh, and my friend code is: 9bUj
