Spidey said: I finally got this game. I have no idea why anyone bothers with Mario 1? The gameplay is shitty and not nearly as deep as Mario 3 and Mario World.
reido said: Yeah. According to the Youtube description it took him nine goddamn hours to beat his own level and upload it (after spending five hours making the damn thing). From Wasabi Sunshine. True story: I sat down with Mario Maker and my six-year-old and told her we could work out a level together. Her primary input on the level? "Make it harder." "Give Bowser a mushroom." "You should stick a giant pirahna plant on top of that giant Bowser." "You should make it so you can't jump over that giant, giant-pirahna-plant-wearing Bowser." "You can stick Chain Chomps in the cannons?? You should put a bunch right by that giant, impassable, giant-pirahna-plant-wearing Bowser. And give them all mushrooms. And make them all shoot super fast." (Paraphrased.)
The Hulk said: So...Wii U developed a fault, had to get another. But the nintendoID is still linked to the faulty console and the internet is telling me that, being in the UK, there is no way to get it transferred over. Apparently US users can call Nintendo and have someone do it, but over here a good natured "fuck off" is the best you can expect. Pretty annoyed right now, really can't be arsed going through the process of unlocking everything in this game again, not to mention losing the stuff I've created already. Ninty really need to just go third party, they're fucking abysmal at this stuff these days, cannot keep pace with industry standards at all.
