FenixDown said: Got Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright: Spirit of Justice when it came out a few days ago. I just finished the second case of the game today and overall I am enjoying it. The foreign land Wright is in for the case of his I played so far kinda reminds me of the Professor Layton crossover game a little, though I found the Layton game's world more enjoyable so far. The Apollo Justice case I finished today was probably the best Apollo-oriented case in the series so far (not that the bar is set very high there but it was better than the first case of this game). While I was able to predict a lot of the big twists of case 2, the characters, music, and how some of those twists were revealed were done very well. Noriyuki Iwadare is at his best when composing character themes, and arranging them too in the case of Ema Skye's theme. My only knocks on the game so far are that I'm not sold yet on the Kingdom of Khura'in as a suitable setting for this series, they have returned to the five strikes system of the first game instead of the life bar from the rest of the series (which does work the same as the life bar, and they do have situations that are worth more than one strike if you mess up, so it's more a cosmetic change than anything), and sometimes it's not as intuitive which piece of evidence is the one you're supposed to present during testimony. I'm still engaged though and I'm eager to start case 3 next time I play.
