Haha...you missed the fact that he was called Black Goliath. Yep. Because there had already been a Goliath, and he was a black guy. Ah quaint comics racism!

I was actually just re-reading the Initiative comics last night (superhero training camp as a result of the registration act) where the Thor Clone, Ragnarok, came back to life. Good times.

Which gets bonus points for the truly terrible pun.

(*I knew he was black, just not that that was his name, becuase C-list Marvel heroes aren't my jam?)

To be fair I think later on they just started calling him Goliath - and not like he was used very much anyway (I think he was a Defender for a little while?). But yeah for a while there he was Black Goliath. And what made that worse was that there were 2 separate Goliaths - Hank Pym and Clint Barton. But they both just happened to be white.

Civil War was good. Not as good as Winter Soldier, but still miles better than that other superhero movie with the versus theme.

I bought Tony's turn at the end. The events of Avengers, Iron Man 3, and Age of Ultron have pushed him to the edge and the revelation that this movie made pushed him over the edge.

SO MUCH TO LOVE.

DAT AIRPORT BATTLE. DAT BLACK PANTHER. DAT SPIDERMAN. DAT BUCKY *rowr*. DAT....(completely unexpected surprise that has to do with Ant-Man).

And yeah Zemo is just another in the long-running line of weak Marvel film villans. Maybe they'll finally get it right in Doctor Strange..or Thor: Ragnarok. And he didn't even have a real personality like Darren Cross did, the current reigning 'Weak Villain' champ. Hell, even Malekith had more presence than Zemo did.
