I really need to play the remastered versions of VII and IX, and this will be added to the list. I actually got the X remaster for PS3 as a gift and I regifted it (I intended to get it for someone but forgot to purchase so I told myself I'd rebuy it one day but that day hasn't come). X is lowest priority on that list so, maybe 5 years from now? haha

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

I liked the story at least it was coherent. That's more than I can than FFXIII.

Exactly. They can polish it all up and add as many bells and whistles as they like, it's still rotten at its core. Probably the least enjoyable story and cast in the entire main series for my money.

And yeah, I'm including the NES games, just to be especially cruel.

Would be in favor of tweaking the battle system and the mobs to increase the overall difficulty.

I also think the battle system mechanics make the game especially fit for some kind of online co-op mode. Just a thought.

I can appreciate the story in XII when you look at the good parts of it. Balthier, Judges, corrupt gods and Fran.....dat Fran...

I'm excited to get this next year. Love that the score is being remastered. The themes and settings of this game are just beautiful and easy to get lost in. Even if you didn't like the story it's still an easy game to play and enjoy.

Well I enjoyed the original release, so I'm interested in this. More so than the FF X games, which didn't jive with me. I'm planning on FF XV being my system seller for a PS4, so by the time this comes out, I will have (hopefully) enjoyed and finished that. I just hope that they fix some of the flaws that were in the PS2 version.

Looking forward to this. FF12 is the only FF that I liked of which I've played just once. I liked the story but didn't like the characters, and I enjoyed the battle system a lot so if this version is better, even better!

Just wish they threw in the soundtrack of a different game into there, but that won't happen,

I got bored playing the original release of FFXII and wound up moving onto other stuff after about 10 hours of game play. If the International version's battle system and the other changes they're making are as good as people claim, maybe I'll give the Remaster a shot.
