Thinking of getting a FF game on my phone. But which one?

Yeah

I've been contemplating on getting a new  Final Fantasy for my phone. So far all I got was that free game a few years ago FF: All the Bravest (yeah it sucked)

And I have been kind of juggling between deciding with three games and here's what I am thinking.

Final Fantasy VI
Pros: My favoaie Final Fantasy. And it would be nice to see how the Mobile remaster handled the game.
Cons: I've probably played and finished a million times already.

Final Fantasy V
Pros: I loved the job systems and for some reason FFV always provides me a great deal of replay value. Also because I also want to see how the mobile remaster handled the game and I would like to see a better localization than the FF: Anthology version, the only non-emulated version I haven't played.
Cons: Yeah I loved the job system but I could just go for FF Tactics. Also I finished this game probably a half a dozen times already.

Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Pros: I enjoyed FFT when it came out in the PSone but sucked at it and never understood the story. I am thinking the better translated War of the Lions will give me a better appreciation of the system and the game. Plus I never played the War of the Lions version before. Plus this game is cheaper than FFVI and FFV.
Cons: I might still not understand the story lol.

So between the three what is the best choice?

Oh also I am playing on my phone and not a tablet. My phone is the Nexus 6P (if that helps).

I'd go with FFT: WotL out of those three, simply because the other two you can play pretty easily getting the Game Boy Advance ROM, and a GBA emulator for Android is easy to find.

Plus the Android versions of FFV and especially FFVI really fucked up the sprites, whereas FFT is still pretty much in top form.

I'll second FFT out of those options.

I would also recommend FF: Dimensions. Nothing new storywise, but a solid job system.

Played it and finished it I should have mentioned that in a reason why not to consider FFV

FFT WotL would be the best choice. Just be prepared to lose hours upon hours of your life trying to manipulate the camera and selecting tiles on a tiny device. It was really made for tablets.. The mobile version of VI is crap imo. And that's coming from someone who thinks that VI is the best one. Of course, you can always come to the dark side and join us in Record Keeper.

Yeah my gut said FFT: WOTL and your responses affirmed that.

I got the game a few weeks ago and am enjoying it quite a lot.

My complaints are mostly logistical especially playing on the phone. The touch screen isn't always accurate and some the navigation throughout the battle map is very tricky at times with the small boxes and rotating to get a good view of the batle.

That said I am grinding the heck out of this game, I guess it helps that playing in mobile for 30 to 45 mins makes it easier to grind than playing on a console for 5 hours straight.

Record Keepers is interesting, and a nice trip down memory lane.  And it's free.

Now, as I look back I see the crooked path that I had been set upon all those years before, leading me inexorably to this moment. I can still see her face in my mind's eye, poor dear Laura, such a sad tale is ours. A tale of heroes who strove to save humanity only to lose our own.

FF Brave Exvius is really fun. The battle system reminds me a lot of FF meets Valkyrie Profile. Mobius FF is pretty good, too, though it can eat up battery life because it has full 3D graphics.

If youâ??re aware of the much-maligned Final Fantasy XIII trilogy, you most likely know that Square Enixâ??s console efforts have fallen far below the bar the company set for itself with its classics. However, if youâ??re an avid mobile gamer (or toilet gamer, which is basically the same thing), then youâ??ll know that Square seems to dominate the mobile gaming scene. Square Enix knows that too, and thatâ??s why the company announced that itâ??s now shifting its main developmental focus from console games to mobile.

FFT is always a good game to play on a mobile device.

But have you considered the FF III remake? Its a port of the Nds version.

The Cruxis Sword is sooo awesome.
