Damn, it's so quiet here we aren't even discussing E3 this year. :( So... did anyone see World of Final Fantasy? I don't know how to feel about this insanity. hahaha

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

So are all future PS4 games going to be in VR? Is VR required. It seems like a gimmick.

It looked like some are all VR while others acn be played with VR or nonVR.

That being said, the XV VR gimmick looked dumb.

Playstation's conference was amazing. Based on the conference, only Batman was said to be exclusively in VR. RE7 in VR looks to be incredible.

Quitre frankly I can't stand the art design so much that I'm never going to play the game no matter how good it is. the one graphic style i hate is super chibi characters.

new zelda looks so freakin amazing

What I haven't heard them talk about for a while which excites me about VR, is that they said there will be a mode where it simulates looking at a big screen. So you can use the VR helmet to play any game while someone else is using the TV.

Really psyched for the Insomniac Spider-Man game.

My E3 thoughts from what I saw:

- Spider-man game looks cool

- I haven't cared about Zelda in over a decade, but Breath of the Wild looked awesome. First time I actually want a Zelda game in forever

- This new hardware stuff is irritating me. Maybe I'm just old and archaic but the whole concept of NEO and Scorpio irritate me. I'm a console gamer over PC for a reason. I just bought a PS4 and/or Xbox One in the past 9 months.

-Days Gone is interesting

-I couldn't care less about VR. Seriously. Again, maybe I am just old. But my backlog dates back to the PS1 era. If VR is the future I'll just pick up the random new "traditional" title here and there and work through my backlog

- I want to like Final Fantasy XV so badly. I just don't have a lot of faith it will be good.

So are the neo, scorpio brand new consoles? Or revamps of the old ones with more graphical power. Are you going to be able to play new games coming out in the old version? It would be lame if I have to buy the new one.

The way the NEO and Scorpio are being presented is that they just have more graphical power but will play the same games. Both Sony and Microsoft have said the same thing in regards to that. I am still not a huge fan and don't really understand the need to do this. I guess it's to try and keep people moving to PC.

As a pure console gamer this is a non issue for me.
