Fuck Shit Stack.

This movie looks amazing! After the lackluster second Thor movie I'm really looking forward to this. Also Immigrant song is a fitting song for this trailer.

Anybody else see this yet? Went earlier today.

I give it 7 out of 10. IMO this movie was way over-hyped. While the character interactions are good, the movie's plot has no sense of urgency and it tries way too hard to be funny all the time. Overall this just didn't work for me and it's made even more jarring by the fact that the films own title is essentially religated to b-plot status when it should have been the a-plot.

Only the interactions between Thor and Hulk and Thor and Loki elevate it from being completely meh experience.

Odin is completely wasted and while Cate Blanchett is friggin awesome she doesn't get nearly enough screentime.

It was fantastic. But like most of Marvel's B-tier (Ant-Man, Doctor Strange) it doesn't really stick in my mind after viewing.

Which is okay, because I love those movies too, and that'll make re-watching it when I inevitably get the blu-ray all the better.

I thought it was really good.  At first I was upset that they seemed to be making Dr. Strange too all-powerful in this.  Then this morning I realized - he was wearing an Infinity Gem around his neck, so that makes sense!

Spoiler: Move your mouse over the container to reveal.
So...the Warriors Three are just dead now?  That was it?  Thor isn't like...worried about them or looking for them when Asgard is being evacuated?  What would have been a better movie for me is if Hela raised all the warriors she killed to be her army.  I had assumed that's why they were killed off with no fanfare.

Also, was it odd that they never actually named Valkyrie?  Do we think they were hedging their bets if they wanted to make her Brunhilde or not?  I was actually wondering if the blonde in the flashback who saved her was supposed to be her.  But just weird that this major character didn't actually have a name.

That's interesting.  You'd think out of all the movies, they'd try to give Thor some heft.  Guardians isn't everyone's speed.  Not every movie should be an ensemble comedy.

That was weird and sudden, but, like, since Thor 1 the movies haven't really known what to do with those guys anyways.

Retroactively glad that Sif wasn't available to get randomly jobbed to make Hela look more badass.

The King's orders are absolute

Yeah, as much as I enjoyed it, I wish it wasn't such a blatant attempt at copying the more comedic approach of Guardians. I suppose you could chalk it up to Thor growing and changing over the years spent on Earth and away from Asgard to take himself less seriously. In the end, I just rolled with it and had fun watching it. Thor's interactions with the Hulk and Loki were the best parts.

Let's Play Chrono Trigger
Let's Play The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
Let's Play Final Fantasy VI
