Lately every episode of Doctor Who is a war between Rory and River to see which of the two of them is more awesome.

"Oh! Give me guilt! ... Also guilt. MORE GUILT." Bwahahah.
I found that bit funny but didn't get why he'd feel guilt?

Rose is running Torchwood in an alternate reality with the Love of her Life.

Martha is happy with Mickey.

Donna is happily married and thanks to the Doctor is now a millionare.

Surely he'd be more guiltly with little Amelia Pond?

Great men aren't everywhere, just where it counts.

Not big on Louis. I tried with the first few episodes, just because I love his stand-up, and it really didn't do anything for me.

Wilfred, on the other hand, I love... they really stretch censorship limits with that show, with hilarious results in most cases.

Right now, I'm just on pins and needles for October 16, and the return of The Walking Dead. Teaser trailer has me salivating.

Now, as I look back I see the crooked path that I had been set upon all those years before, leading me inexorably to this moment. I can still see her face in my mind's eye, poor dear Laura, such a sad tale is ours. A tale of heroes who strove to save humanity only to lose our own.

1) He dumped Rose in that alternate reality with his clone and made the choice FOR her. That never sat right with me, personally.

2) He hurt Martha badly during series 3.

3) Donna got her mind wiped and she can never remember her wonderful adventures and the things she did or else she'll die. I don't think being married off and given a lottery ticket was a great substitute. I hate the way Donna's story ended, and frankly including her in EoT was rubbing salt in the wound.

The last time I watched the end of Donna's season I cut it off before it all went south for her. You spend the entire season warming up to her to the point (in my case at least) that she's one of it not THE best companion the 2005 and beyond Doctor has had*, and then you get kicked in the teeth.

And then she comes back in one of the specials and is just this, like... hollow shell of the character, and it's so, so sad.

*Primarily because she was such a breath of fresh air after Rose OH DOCTOR I LOVE YOU Tyler and Martha OH DOCTOR WHY DON'T YOU LOVE ME Jones.

I still can't decide whether what happened to Donna was amazing or shit. I think it's incredible that they made you care so sincerely about this character, that you got so invested in her growth until she becomes a bonafide hero, and then they just shit all over it. It would have been a "better" end if they'd killed her.

I'm still surprised that they didn't work the Ood into the season simply so they could give her a hand brain for the Doctor knowledge. And now she's back to her old, albeit rich, self. ;__;

I haven't been keeping up with Doctor Who lately, but this KILLED me. Even when I read this post It annoyed the crap out of me. She was my favorite companion out of the Tennant Who series.

I've been reading about how having a broadband connection and streaming shows can be cheaper than cable, and I was wondering which streaming services are the best, and if it is actually possible to keep up with everything without a dish, sports inculded?

Yeah, but in comparison to other companions that have either died or been left randomly in time and space I think they got off pretty lightly.

Finished Series 1 of Sherlock on Netflix. Having barely got a glimpse of it when I was in Chicago a couple weeks ago, I was disappointed, upon returning home, to find that Canada's online Netflix service hadn't gotten it yet. Thankfully, that changed this week.

I thought it was great. All the literary allusions in "The Great Game" were pretty clever to boot. Can't wait for Series 2.

Crono can cross dimensions too!

Holy shit, Futurama. That is definitely my new favorite 3 shorts episode and possibly my new favorite episode overall. The last one was definitely the weakest of the three but the fact that I was laughing every second of the first more than makes up for it. *bounce*Also, holy shit, Wilfred!

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

Bah! I'm so bummed that I have missed almost all of this current run of Futurama because of the community theatre play I've been doing. I need to get a DVR.
