I refuse to believe that I'm the only one interested and keeping a sharp eye on this.

And yes, I know. "MMO? Blurgh! Fuck that nonsense with a cat's tail!"

But still, LOOK!

The game seems to have a wonderful sense of not taking itself seriously as can be seen in this "What is Wildstar?" trailer:

And more importantly, from this brief glimpse, it looks like player housing done FANTASTIC:

So....anyone else interested?

It looks really interesting and I like Sci-Fi.

Still need to try out GW2 one of these days, but I'm not spending that much money on a PC game without firsthand knowledge of how it plays. And they don't put out a demo/free trial. :(

GW was pretty awesome. I definitely got my money's worth out of the game and the fact that it's a buy once to play sort of game eliminates all of the feelings of guilt/waste you get if you don't play for a month or two at a time.

After burning out on it a bit, I'm pretty much down to checking in during the big updates, taking part in the big content events and such but I don't play regularly anymore. I've found that unless you get into the World vs World content, there really isn't much of a sustainable end game unless you're one of those people that like to put in a loooot of time for some cosmetic rewards.

Wildstar....I have some pretty big hopes for Wildstar at the moment haha. Seems like a mix between GW2's "do whatever you think is fun and you'll still be progressing" and WoW's idea of end game content with their raids and more importantly, their whole create a plot of land and invade other people's lands thingy heh.
