Give Life Back To Music

You know, for more than what you're currently listening to and links and whatnot.
So I've been listening to Vampire Weekend's latest album VERY regularly, and now that I've had time to fully digest the content and sound, I've come to this comparison: It's their 'Neon Bible'. Discusses all those heavier topics like the ills of modern society, religion, death, etc, BUT, unlike Arcade Fire, they didn't completely lose their charm when they chose to deal with such serious topic matter. Which, in my opinion, is harder to pull off and puts this higher on my list of Best Albums Ever. I like when an artist can make me ponderdeeper topics without making me depressed.
And on a different topic, I'm really, really loving what Daft Punk have done with 'Random Access Memories'. Sure, it's not as 'Daft Punk' as many were expecting, but it's absolutely amazing. The sheer amount of care put into this album is incredible. Not many artists out there put that much attention to detail and quality into their work. It's crazy. Like the song goes, it literally has given life back to music for me by reigniting my passion for it. I haven't been this fascinated by a new release in years.
