Hey guys ... anyone been to Seoul and Tokyo I am going on a 10 day trip in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone can suggest some things I can do there.

Here is what I have planned already

Seoul - I will have 4 full days here (plus less than a day when I arrive). I will be touring by myself. Here's my itinerary so far:
Day Arrival - I arrive like 5 pm so I am guessing I will be in my hotel around 6 or 7 pm. Not sure what I can do in the evening. Any ideas? I am thinking since my hotel is around the Meyong Dong area I can hang around there.
1st Fully Day - I booked a guided tour via Viator.com it's a while day affair which includes trips to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jogyesa Buddhist Temple, Changdeokgung palace, Insadong Antique Alley, and Namdaemun Market
2nd Full Day - Right not I am thinking of going to the N Seoul Tower (since I have hard on for tall places i.e. Willis Tower, Space Needle, KL Tower) and since Namsan Park is near by I can probably check that place out. Though since we are in the middle of Autumn I an not sure if it's worth going to. Though these plans probably won't occupy a whole day. So any ideas?
3rd Full Day - I have a half day tour to the DMZ (hope I don't get kidnapped :P ). This tour ends like 2 pm, so I will have half a day to do stuff
4th full day - No plans yet. Any Ideas?

Other ideas I have in mind is maybe take a day trip to Busan though since my time is Seoul is limited (and a two way train ride back is over $100) I might just stay in Seoul. Then we have The War Memorial of Korea (which I might go since I really like WWII history), Olympic Park, Gangnam District, etc.

Also I plan to bring: $400 to $450 worth of pocket money so will that be enough?

Tokyo - This will be a 5 1/2 day trip for me. Unlike Seoul I have friends who live in Tokyo so on weekends (Day 4th and 5th) I will probably do what they do. Though I might do my own thing to maximize my time there.

This is also my second time Tokyo but unlike before (which half the time involved my drinking and getting wasted) I want to maximize my time in Tokyo. My last visit I went to Shibuya, Akihabara, Ginza, Odaiba, Tokyo Tower, and a short time in Shinjuku. So my plans currently are
Day of Arrival - I arrive in Tokyo around 2 pm. After a train to my Hotel and checking in I am thinking maybe visiting the Sky Tree. Which closes at 9 PM and perhaps to go around Shinjuku as well.
Full Day 1 - I might do Akihabara again for a short time only because I like Videogames and might buy some stuff (like when I bought the original FFVI cart ... might as well complete my SNES FF Collection oops I mean Super Fami Com. :P. Thought this won't take a whole day maybe even an hour only.
Full Day 2 - no plans yet
Full Day 3 - This is a Friday so chances are I am going to hang out with my friends.
Full Day 4 - no plans yet
Full Day 5 - no plans yet

Other ideas I have in mind, Roppongi Hill (which I have been to the last time but I didn't stay long), Meiji Jingu in Shibuya, since I am there I might as well visit the Dog again, Asakusa Temple and other assorted things in the area of Taito. Though that's all I can think of now which won't fill 5 days so I was wondering if any of you have anything in mind.

Since my trip hits right smack in Halloween I might end up in some sort of Halloween Party. My friend told me to bring a costume already so there's that.

My budget for this trip is around $500 (though I suspect I will have some excess money from Seoul so I can convert the Won to Yet).

Also as for places to eat any suggestions of great places to try out for both Seoul and Tokyo (preferably moderately priced)?

So I was wondering if you guys have suggestions. Thanks :)

Dude, the night life in Seoul is pretty amazing. They have so many clubs. Also, make sure you go to the mall in the daytime. They have a lot of unique items, especially for gaming. Also, try to see the mountains while you're there. They are very impressive.

It would be great if you could take a trip down to Jeju Island whilst in Seoul.

I probably won't able to go to Jeju looking at the distance and length of travel the closest way to get there is through Icheon and it's a 13 hour sail. If I was going to take a day trip outside Seoul, Busan might be the only feasible place to go.

Mountains I can do. Looking at Bukhansan National Park, anythoughts of it. And how long is the travel from the main city?

^I don't know the specifics, but google should do. They have a competent subway system that will get you anyplace pretty cheap. They have stairs that will go almost all the way to the summit in many locales. It's crazy. For local cuisine, try wome Kimchi. Very spicy.
