Looking for an RPG

Okay so I'm waiting for Skyrim's release next month but I really need something to keep me occupied between now and then. I am looking for a solid  turn based RPG on the 360 that can be purchased from the Games on Demand section. I have Tales of Vesperia, ME1 & ME2, Oblivion, Fallout 3 & New Vegas. My question is, out of what is left, is there anything worth purchasing?

Lost Odyssey. Not only is it really good, but is one of a very scarce amount of turn-based RPG's on the console. The others being Blue Dragon and ermm... uh...

Not sure if it's on Games on Demand, though. Or Blue Dragon for that matter. There's a couple of really solid (and cheap!) RPG's on Xbox Live Indies, namely Breath of Death VII and its sequel, Cthulhu Saves the World.

That's funny.  I can't think of another turn based RPG for the next generation consoles.  Aside from Lost Odyssey (good title) and Blue Dragon (decent title), nothing comes to mind.

Heck, Persona 3 and 4 were technically last generation titles, despite coming out while the next gen was going pretty strong.

Do games like Mass Effect adn Tales of Vesperia count as "turn based"...? You seemed to list them in that category, because if they count, I can list a few games, otherwise I can't, if you are thinking turn based a la FF7 or something.

Have you gone through Shivering Isles? I enjoyed that a hell of a lot more than the regular Oblivion storyline. Sheogorath is hilariously awesome. I always saved before talking to him because he'd get me laughing so hard I'd have to reload to make sure I didn't miss the rest of what he was saying.

"Wonderful! Time for a celebration... Cheese for everyone! Wait, scratch that. Cheese for no one. That can be just as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese, true? You've run a maze like a good little rat. But no cheese for you yet. Well, maybe a little."

I had retyped my post and forgot to remove them as examples. Woops!

I have no idea what's in Games on Demand but ...

Lost Odyssey should be a must buy.

I also heard good things about Resonance of Fate which i havent played yet though.

If you consider Deus Ex an RPG ... its a great game (you can nab this preowned for $34 now).

But then again if you want to cheap I hear Bastion on the Xbox DLC is really good and worth $10.

Bastion is $15, and very much worth it.

Also, while I think Resonance of Fate is a good game, it's also a very hard game (not Demons Souls hard).  This is mostly because the game doesn't really hold your hand like other games do.

Resonance of Fate is pretty fun but unfortunately it isn't turn based at all...at least, is it? I can't...group it.
