I rarely buy games Day One these days, but I think this is a must buy on Day One for me. I am truly blown away by the graphics on this game, and I didn't think I was going to say that about games anymore.

I could've sworn this was going to be a PS5 release date release. But I'm excited for this game. Too bad I'm having twins next year and won't be able to play games for a while.

They're giving npc's names and having their comrads scream out in sadness when one dies. I think they took the comments about Nathan Drake being a psychopathic murderer to heart. I really REALLY like the concept of building empathy in a game. I want to feel something other than I just killed a bad guy.

So that turned out to be a bit of a cheeky trailer in retrospect! Game is good on the whole but not without its flaws, chief among them so far for me would be listen mode being complete dogshit and near-useless, and WAY TOO FUCKING MANY NOTES. I feel like I'm stopping every couple of minutes to read another note, the gameplay flow is seriously hampered because of it.

The story choices though...yikes, really could've done better there. Feels like it's trying way too hard to shock and "subvert expectations".

I'll gladly eat my words, they really brought the story all together very well in the end. Game's a damn masterpiece. You have to laugh at the sad bastards boycotting it because of their petty political bullshit, their loss.
