These shots confirm that the materia will be visible on all the weapons. I am curous how Red XIII's weapons are going to look.
I was VERY concerned about the materia system and menus and this chilled me out. I am getting what I wanted so far, which is not taking away from the game, only adding to it.
Speaking of materia, it appears that if you pair elemental materia with weapons you see an animation for that element around your weapon as well as on impact of enemies. Nice touch!
Honestly speaking, I kind of wish they would delay this to release on PS5.
