My wife made me a Memories Book of our relationship since when we met and a set of Love Vouchers, some romantic and some more private.

My daughter got loads again and really enjoyed Christmas this year, including leaving milk and cookies out for Santa. Only problem is we might have to rent out the empty masionette across from us, just to fit all her stuff. :D

Yikes and away!

I received beautiful Rayban sunglasses, weed, an engraved hip flask, and delicious, amazing Christmas dinner.

I gave; earrings, piercings, funny handmade pictures, a massage, some cookiware, wine, and new shoes. I'm so in the, "it's better to give than receive" mentality that I feel weird now when I get gifts. It's been an amazing Christmas and could not ask for it to have gone better this year.

We didn't buy presents for each other this year, just for the kids. But I swiped a handful of kitchen instruments from my aunt, including a wicked sharp ceramic veggie knife. It's too bad she wouldn't let me have her nice stand mixer.

I gave: a Kindle cover, a fancy white belt, an iPod dock/speaker, two gift cards and a sports car driving experience voucher.

I received: A PSP, Absolute Sandman Vol. 1, couple of PSP games, a kit for turning my phone into a proper satnav, and the entire X-Files on DVD.

I'm happy. This was a merry Christmas.

Well, other than my TV, I got some clothes (two awesome coats, and some shirts), lots of chocolate/fudge, and the first Devil Summoner game and my Pusheen plushie that James gave me. Got to spend time with most of my family and my boyfriend's family. Christmas was great. :3

Got way too much money, some gift cards, and some video games (money and games are easy to put on an airplane).

The two best gifts I have received though were super cheap things that the givers thought of me when they saw it -- "ninjabread" cookie cutouts in the shape of ninjas, and two antique salt/pepper shakers in the shape of panda bears (a bit of an insider thing but they are beautiful). I treasured the shakers more than the check my oil-drilling uncle gave me because, honestly, my uncle doesn't spend time with me or know me very well (he shows his love with money rather than a real relationship -- though I am extremely thankful for the gift, I would love spending time with him even more), while the person that gave me the salt/pepper shakers spends time with me, listens to me when I'm upset, knows me extremely well, and did what he could with what little he had.

I hope that doesn't make me sound like an ungrateful or spoiled bitch, because I love my uncle to death, but I love him more than his checkbook, and that seems to be the only way he knows how to express anything (he has threatened with money too when he disagrees with you -- long story).
