I just got back from seeing it. The great irony of it is... Spoiler: Move your mouse over the container to reveal.
William Fichtner isn't Shredder but you end up wishing that he was. He's completely wasted in the role he does serve and Shredder as a character is completely devoid of anything resembling a compelling villian here. As contraversial as the idea of Fichtner as Shredder was when it was first mentioned, it at least would have been much more interesting than what we actually get with the movie
The Turtles themselves have good interplay together but the movie on the whole was just "meh". The storyline is rushed and despite a few good moments here and there, there is little development for any of the characters. The movie feels like a half assed effort, as if the film makers took a rough first draft and said: "Fuck it, good enough".
To be honest I was expecting worse though, so I guess that's something to be thankfull for.
