So I don't know where to put this or if its even important enough for it's own thread. If it isn't feel free to delete.

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and update that I'm trying to get internet again. Comcast pulled some crazy stuff when I moved from one residence to my current and the bill got out of control. I'm currently tethering from my phone at pretty much 56k speeds so I won't be on here much until I find a better solution. Tempted to get century link (any opinions of them?) just so I can be connected to the outside world again and play FFXI too lol. LIFE WITHOUT INTERNET IS NOT WORTH IT!

Wish everyone well and hopefully I can get it resolved soon (it's been since May no internet </3) so I can be more active again.

I can't believe I didn't notice this before. Hey Scribe, it's good to see another FFO'er who still plays FFXI here (sorry to hear your net is down though - I know how that feels myself. It's no fun). :(

I've had centurylink for 5+ years now for Internet/Phone and It's been a good experience. I started out on one of those bundle deals that was such and such price for the first year and then increased, but then a few months ago they offered me better internet service at a lower price with a lock on price for the next 5 years.

The internet service has been fantastic. Haven't experienced any weird outages or anything like that and speeds have been consistent. Don't have much trouble streaming or anything like that. That said, we live in a newer developed area and have fiber optic hooked up straight to the house. They had no problems with me buying my own router instead of renting and since we don't need a modem I don't have to rent one of those either.
