Kinda late to ask this since we're down to the last race of the season (Brazil), but I'm just curious if anyone here follows the F1 Grand Prix races. Last week, the race was on the brand new Circuit of the Americas race track at Austin, Texas.

For those who do, who do you think will be the champion this season? Who do you want to win?

F1 better than NASCAR? :)

Fuck Shit Stack.

I don't follow it or racing for that matter, but I do actually like the look of formula 1 race cars over your typical bland nascar car. I also like how the race tracks actually have twists and turns instead of one big loop. Seems to make it more interesting.

I did about 10 years ago, but Schumacher made it boring. I hear things are getting better now however.

I follow it somewhat religiously. I was gunning for a third title for Alonso for this morning's race but I'm not bitter at Vettel getting it either, they both did an awesome job.

This. I loved watching F1 up until the mid-90's. Some of my gearhead friends are getting back into it so I might have to watch a couple of races.

The typical F1 vs NASCAR argument. In fairness, tho, NASCAR may look monotonous, but you only have to play GT5 to appreciate its mechanics and understand that in some ways, it's a lot tougher than F1 (don't get me wrong, tho, I still prefer F1)

Would it help that 8 different guys won first place this season, Kimi Raikkonen wound up 3rd overall despite winning only once, and the world champion wasn't decided until the last race?

(Oh, and Schumi's retired again)

Honestly, Earnhardt's death was the beginning of the end for my enjoyment for racing, both NASCAR and F1. Until that point I watched pretty much every race I could.
