The Colosseum is to the northwest in the World of Ruin. When entering a battle in the Colosseum, you're prompted to select a single character for battle and wager and item to compete for. It's always recommended you save before battling. After betting an item, you will fight the corresponding enemy to the death. If you win, you will trade the betting item for the winning item. If you lose, you will lose your betting item and return to the Colosseum. If you're blown off the battlefield, the battle will end with no loss or gain of items. Consult the bestiary to match your character stats with the enemy you'll battle.
