Acquiring Esper Experience
How does my magicite gain experience after defeating an enemy or boss?

After defeating an enemy or boss, your equipped esper gains the total experience collected from each defeated monster multiplied by the learn rate of the magic spell the character is currently trying to learn. These multipliers are listed on each corresponding magic on the esper page. Once your character has learned a magic spell, the esper can be removed and the spell will be retained as a magic ability.

Concentrate on this target secondly. Use all sorts of strong physical attacks and Ultima to destroy it. As always you'll be needing one character to heal the group round. Whatever you do, don't kill the 2nd target before the head. Else the head will use all sorts of very powerful earth-elemental spells.

Make getting rid of this target your first priority. It's attacks are very powerful, and can easily kill a character in a single hit. Concentrate on using your strongest spells to get rid of this target first. It shouldn't take long to do. due to it's low HP. Revive and heal your characters every round while you destroy this target.

Go after this target on the second tier after dispatching Tiger. It's attacks are all very very weak, and you shouldn't have too much problems taking out this target by using Bio, and physical attacks. Just be sure your party's HP is high when you kill it, because it'll hit your party 10 times in a row as parting shot.

This will be the third target you should go after. Although it has a huge repertoire of magic spells at hand, it picks them out randomly. So about half of them end up being non-threatening to the party. So you can just hack away at her and have one character designated to heal the party.

Go after this target first. It has one annoying attack that turns a character immediatly into a Zombie. It also has a couple very powerful fire-elemental attacks, as wellas N. Cross which can halt your party in it's tracks and make them sitting ducks against all these targets. Use Ice 3's, physical attacks and other ice-elemental attacks to quickly get rid of this annoying target.

Go after this target on the tier last. Most of it's attacks aren't too powerful, and when it starts taking more and more damage, it starts to use Dispel an awful lot of the time for no reason at all. Keep everyone's HP high when you take out this last target, because you'll need to have high HP for the next tier that's about to come. It'll use Dispel two or three times in a row as a parting shot.

You must get rid of this target first before you do anything else on this tier. And the only way to do this, is to use regular physical attacks, and Ultima as quickly as you can before it gets a chance to use Pearl Wind, or Life 3. If you take out the other target before taking this one out, it'll revive it with full HP using Life 2. You'll also have your hands full keeping your party alive, so you'll need to have two characters using Cure 3 every round, while the other two knock this target out.

With the other target dispatched, you now have a somewhat easier time with this last target. Have one character heal the party with Cure 3 every round. Hopefully you remembered to equip some relics that prevent mortal magic attacks, as this target uses mortal magic attacks a lot, as well as killing one or two random characters when she dies. Throw everything you've got at the tier, as it has no defenses you need to worry about it, and it's attacks are fairly survivable. The only thing of real worry is Merton, equip your characters with Flame Shields, and you should be okay, otherwise your party just may get killed if she uses it.

The final battle at last. A combination of physical and magic attacks will easily cut Kefka down to size. Make sure you quickly recover from his Fallen One attack, a move that will decrease your entire party's HP to 1. Quick spells can make the battle almost laughably easy and Ultima does decent damage. If you've equipped Flame Shields, Merton is a possibility for causing significant damage. Keep hitting Kefka with anything and everything that causes massive amounts damage, heal with Cure 3 constantly, and eventually Kefka will disintegrate into nothingness. Now just sit back and watch the ending.
