|
Final Fantasy VIII features a diverse cast of characters, each with
special talents and abilities. Most of your party will consist of SeeD members, trained in their
respective fields and wielding weapon styles of their choice.
Weapons
Weapons aren't interchangeable, but specifically designed for each character. More powerful weapons require parts which are acquired from defeating and/or stealing them from enemies, or refining items. Visit Upgrade Shops, located in most well-populated towns, to upgrade weapons.
Limit Breaks
Each character has a series of special attacks known as Limit
Breaks, available when the character's crisis level
approaches 100%. Certain Limit Breaks require items or weapons to
be used/equipped.
