To my great astonishment, I'm really kinda enjoying this one. I haven't dug a FF game since X and 7R left me quite cold overall. But this feels so much more like a proper crack at reviving the heart of FF7 than that did. It still has problems of course, the Kindom Hearts-ification of the story is eyerolling, as is the general anime feel of it all, and don't get me started on how they somehow made Caith Sith even worse in every way. But there's a lot of positives too, and I think I love Yuffie even more than I did in the original (she is by far the best character and VA performance in this game).
Naturally FF finally gets good again and there's no fuckers left on this forum to celebrate it.
