I kinda hope they release a IV/V/VI pack for Vita/3DS.

Saw this earlier today. We all knew it was coming and here it is... but on IOS first? Eww.

Does anyone else not like the new look of V? The new coat of paint really suited I, II, and IV (especially IV) but man, those are some DULL Sprites and I'm not a fan of that artwork as much as the smaller pics from earlier games.

Nevermind, didn't read that part amaron, lol.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

What horrible character sprites. How did these get approval? And $20? Despicable. I guess they put so little money into it that they only need to find a few thousands suckers and they will make profit. FFV is a great game, but $20 for ugly sprites is not a good decision.

Eh, I don't mind the slightly updated sprites. I really liked Final Fantasy IV on the PSP, and really consider that the ultimate version of the game. Just felt like the best way to modernize a classic. Of course I don't want to see FFVI ruined with any new art style, but it would be interesting to see still, and give me a nice good excuse to play it again.

Yeah, default RPGMaker 2000 sprites.

It wasn't enough for them to run the franchise into the ground now, they had to go into the past to make sure it never rose to power in the first place.

One day this will just be "Final Fantasy V", the accepted standard version, to your children's children.

If you're not speedrunning it, then yes, the GBA is the far superior version. It's pretty universally excepted for V that GBA>SNES>PS1.
