Let's hope Square doesn't cheap out and makes some changes rather than just HD.

This will be worth getting if they add the option to skip cutscenes. FFX has one of the best battle systems, but I cannot replay the game because of the plot.

At this point, I wouldn't be suprised if SE messed it up. Advent Children ruined any dreams of a FFVII remake. I actually got bored during that movie. The only time I yawned playing VII was because it was late and I needed to stop playing so I could get sleep for the next day. AC just made me do it randomly. With most of the main people behind the main series gone, I just don't trust them to handle it properly.

The weird thing is, since I made that last post I've downloaded FF7 from PSN and started playing it on my PSP, and... I actually don't need a remake. I still love the original just the way it is and just as much as I did back then.

Also, yeah.. with Square Enix's current staff, I wouldn't trust them with a remake either.

FFX is the last great Final Fantasy game. Might as well give it a tribute if you aren't making anything new worth playing, SE.

Nah, he was just the best written character in a game filled with 2-bit asshats. For all his badassery he was humiliated, too.
