So I'm getting dancing lessons soon, and I want to learn the waltz from Final Fantasy VIII. Has anyone else ever tried the dance in real life? :)

I did with my friend a long time ago, but we were just messing around and never got around to actually master it xD it doesn't seem that complicated though ...same as the FFX-2 opening

Cool :) I love the music in that dance scene too. I want to have a party in a ballroom just like it and invite everyone to come and dance. :)

Oh jeez. The thread title got the music playing in my head.

The waltz is a good solid dance to learn first. It's simple and robust, the hardest part is getting your partner's steps in time with your own. And watch out for other couples when leading.

What kind of dancing lessons?

IIRC it was a simple box-ish step with a bit of choreography that repeats. First repeat Squall is derping, second repeat is at the end.
