I'm posting this a few hours early from my perspective, but it's already Christmas else where in the world I'm going to start this.

Merry Christmas (or whatever alternative holiday you celebrate) everyone.

What have you received. I already received a few presents since due to the size of my family present exchange is taking place over 4 days this year.

So far I've received.

1TB external hard drive.
Slate art clock
Leather Mobile Phone sleeve.
Where's The Meerkat Book (Like Where's Wally/Waldo)
Cool glow in the dark t-shirt.
Pair of cargo trousers

Short list so far, but I've still go two more days of present exchange to go.

Also, not this isn't the same as Trek's thread. That looked like an attempt to make an FFS parody of "T'was the Night Before Christmas", but none of you would play ball.

Great men aren't everywhere, just where it counts.

If you ever see me online playing Halo, join me please.

My sister bought my Hugh Laurie's new CD called "Let Them Talk". It is very bluegrassy/blues and has a decent sound to it but I don't find it as enjoyable as other bands from the genre because he hasn't experienced anything close to what he sings about so there is no soul or sincerity.

I've got a horrible feeling that I won't be getting any video games this year. Last year I only got Video Games from my Step Brother and my Wife. This year my Step Brother brought me the Meerkat book and due too a lack of funds this year, my wife and I agree to make each other our presents.

Merry Christmas everyone! I don't usually get anything during the holidays since I'm more of the gift-giver. This year, I only got the book Songs of Love and Death from my girlfriend. :D

The only present I've got so far is Bleach: Soul Resurreccion for PS3, and if that's the only thing I get this year, I'll be absolutely satisfied. Played it for a few hours today since I have to work Christmas Day, and it's fun. 10/10, would Bankai again.

The kid is getting mass presents this year, but I scored a few goodies. Xenoblade Chronicles soundtrack, a Bronze DSi XL and Gaultier's Le Male EdT, so I smell good while enjoying the other presents.

Merry Christmas FFS!

We're saving the main gift exchanges for tomorrow, but I have received a few things from people at work and relatives I won't see this year. Mostly money and gift cards, and a tin of cookies. This is usually my time of year to shine since (I believe) I tend to pick out good gifts for people. I found a barely used Wii complete with everything it was packaged with for $65 at a secondhand store down the street from work back in August and bought that for my sister, and my mom picked up a classic controller and Wii point card for me to pick out some games to download to it: Yoshi's Story and Mario Party 2. I also got my mom a blu ray player off Amazon.com, hopefully she'll like that and get some use out of it.

I have so far acquired:

Set of 15 Rubbermaid containers & a little tote lunch bag (snagged during Dirty Santa with the family)
Green fuzzy gloves (from my boss)
A set of Vanilla Sugar body wash, spray, lotion and a loofah from Bath & Body Works (fiance's extended family)
Vera Bradley tech bag & $75 Kohl's gift card (from the future in-laws)
$50 gift card from the local bank (won from a prize drawing at work)
$20 from my aunt

There are a few more gifts to open tomorrow night when I get home from work, but I already know that I'll be getting Skyrim from my brother, two MST3K DVD sets from the fiance, and I'm pretty sure there's money in the two envelopes addressed to me. As a bonus, I received my exchanged WoW hoodie in the mail from JINX today.

*Edit* Okay, gifts from the family tonight:

Two pairs of fuzzy pajama pants and a sleep shirt
Two pairs of fuzzy socks

My brother received money to equal whatever the total for my gifts were, but still....spoiled, I got it :O

As for what I got for Xmas? Including things from friends...

Sonic Generations (Well, technically I got it on Black Friday, but it was an early Xmas gift)
The Old Republic (A present to myself, so it counts)
A new ACER 19 inch LED monitor (from some very loving friends, to replace my one that died)
A physical copy of Red by Dia Frampton
A physical copy of Castor, The Twin by Dessa
$25 gift card to Starbucks
A cool new water bottle (I always carry one around with me)
Clothes (Sweatpants, underwear, socks. The usual stuff)
A box of white chocolate Oreoes (my favourite)
$50, which was promptly used to:

Activate my Old Republic account
Buy Orcs Must Die!
Buy Defense Grid: The Awakening and all of it's DLC
Buy Dungeons of Dredmor and it's DLC
Buy all the Sanctum DLC I still lacked
Buy two presents for dear friends of mine over steam
And will still yet provide me with at least one more game before the sales are over

Bastion (Gifted over steam by a friend)
Legend of Fae (Same as above)
And though not strictly a present since I am reimbursing him, someone sent me an arcade stick just in time for Xmas so I can practice playing fighting games on a stick better.

I did a lot better than I thought I would this year, and it's actually been a joy to share the holiday with friends for once. I hope everyone else is having as good a holiday as I have ended up having (this month still sucks though and I want it gone forever).
