Sorry about the lack of link.  Sony has been announcing the free games for the month at the beginning for a couple of months now.

Edit: Just picked up both KOTOR for less than $7.  I have them on disc somewhere but now I don't have to worry about them.  Now to figure out how to get KOTOR II to play on windows 7 and modded for extra content since I've never played that part of the game.

Oh, I know. It's just usually done in the usual monday PS+ blog post. Weird that they decided to do it on the Blogcast this time. Not complaining, though, it's nice knowing in advance what we're getting.

Insert witty remark here.

Agreed.  I love being part of PS+ which actually has tangible benefits for paying for membership.  I'm sorry it took me so long to hop on board with it.

I just got the Steam version myself, and it works just fine for me ... so far. (I've gone through about half of Peragus as a "test run" ... which knowing me will actually turn into a full playthrough. :P )

If you purchased the KOTORs for the PC, make sure to check out the modding community, especially KOTOR 2's TSL Restored Content mod which adds a lot of quality content that was cut from the original game.

I picked up KOTOR II on steam when it was on sale around Christmas/New Year. Have windows 7 and Restored Content Mod and I remember it being pretty painless. I don't remember doing anything special to get it running.

Turns out all Star Wars titles are 66% off. Makes sense, being May the Fourth (Be With You Day).

Went back and got the first KOTOR ($3 + change) as well.

Tuesday is when the PS store (and PS+ free games) update, so it won't be available until the 7th. This past week's game was Zombie Tycoon 2, which is surprisingly fun.
