I've never played the Professor Layton games yet (or own a 3DS), but I am really getting excited for this. I just hope it doesn't get the Ace Attorney Investigations 2 treatment and actually gets released outside of Japan.

You know I'm still curious as to why they stopped at AAI1. I'm hoping this gets brought over because it looks interesting. I don't know how much I'm feeling the 3D models yet but I'll adjust.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

They stopped at AAI1 because it's late in the DS lifecycle, and AAI didn't sell enough vs. how much it cost for them to make a profit off it or a sequel in this economy. Which sucks, a lot, but is a sadly legit reason. A part of me still hopes we'll see LaytonxPhoenix, but I'm not holding my breath.
