I played the most badass Dwarf Rogue the first time around, I could never pick anything else.

Ah, cool. I was hoping that would be the case again. I much prefered DA2's more focused origin than the variable ones in DAO.

I'm actually more okay with human only for this one than I was for DA2.

I'm going to do my best to make my Inquisitor a "y'know the chantry's alright" kind of character this time.

I felt like having one origin helped the story a lot, since Bioware could include aspects of it all throughout the game (like, say, your family being an important part of things) instead of just having an episode at the beginning that doesn't affect much later.

I liked that the Human Noble origin did make Arl Howe a much more personal villain instead of just some random schmuck like he was for the other origins.

I'm OK with the singular origin. While DA2 had its problems, I didn't think that was one of them. I'd only want multiple origins if they were of consistent quality and had their own significant impacts on the story.

Singular race is one thing, but I don't see why they couldn't do a Mass Effect style pick your past sort of thing. Maybe like two or three choices that have a brief introduction, but nothing like Origins' scope or length of intros.
