SE has gotten really good at pissing us off lately so it won't surprise me if this is Star Ocean 4 special super limited edition for WiiU but here's hoping it's Star Ocean 5. I know a lot of people really hated 3 and 4 but I still replay them to this day so I'd be looking forward to a new entry into the series.

And yeah, it could be a new IP but I doubt it.

Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

You know, Crystal Chronicles is one of the few games I can think of that would actually work really well on the WiiU and not feel forced as all hell.

Star Oceans 5 i bet.

I also bet WiiU exclusive.

There are tons of rumors floating around that every few months Nintendo or a partner is going to release new game info where they steal a good sell, but not million selling mulitplatform sequal and make it exclusive (Like bayonetta) and Star Ocean would be a great one to get from SE.

I felt that Star Ocean 4 as a major improvement over 3.

Mainly because Edge seemed more believable than Fayt... and that he fully understood the reprocussions of destroying a world, even if it wasn't his own.

But that's just me.

That said, I really wonder if this is going to be Star Ocean 5, but we'll find out in a couple of days.

I loved Star Ocean 3, but 4 while being a decent game was my least favorite in the series.

I HOPE it's Star Ocean 5..I'd probably jizz my pants if true.

Tri-Ace seems like it's done with Star Ocean. Then again, we've heard that line a billion times.

Really, after Star Ocean 3 and 4, I'd hope they're done anyway.

Star Ocean games are fun for that battle system. I just ignore the awful story.

I've enjoyed Star Ocean, though I didn't like 3 that much and I haven't played 4 yet. I think if 3 had been some other stand-alone RPG instead of a Star Ocean game, I would've liked it better.

And yes, much love for the battle system.

The announcment was so amazing that it broke Square.
