I'm trying to organize some data I've been collecting. I have it all in text and Excel has been good so far, but my prof wants to load it into a different program now, hopefully something that plots the data better.
Any suggestions?

Crono
Crono can cross dimensions too!
Matlab or Mathcad are decent for plotting unless you need it to look all fancy.
Currently Playing: Dark Cloud 2: 3 hours.
Also Playing: CT, FF VI, Solatorobo, Secret of Mana, Halo 4.
Just Finished: Fable II: 7 hours.

Is Minitab a cheaper option than those? I use Minitab at work for plotting data and for general statistical analysis.

I'm using Veusz now to handle organizing my data. It works now that I understand how to keep data on it. Although I do still use Excel to muddle the data and to find a pattern.
I've never tried mini-tab how is it?
EDIT: Oh hey a 1-Month later post

Great tool for scatter plot, simple population and sample statistics, histogram, contour plot, simply hypothesis testing, ANOVA, linear and nonlinear polynomial regression, box and whisker plot, control chart, distribution fitting, and plenty of statistical analysis I was too lazy to mention. It takes spreadsheet input.
