Although I disagree vehemently with your assessment of Morrison's Batman (Like...SO vehemently), I definitely have to agree with you on his handling of the Bruce/Jim dynamic. I especially like how Bruce knows that Jim knows that he's Batman, but he'll never come out and say it, just like Jim will never reveal that he knows that Bruce is Batman. That conversation was so much fun.

I don't actually dislike all of his Batman run, just most of it. I really loved his run on Batman & Robin, just not so much the stuff before or after it.

Well, at least we can agree on that.
I just can't get over how incredibly anticlimactic Batman Inc #13 was. I mean...Jesus. I can't believe this is an actual complaint coming from me, but most of the issue was dialogue! Seriously. Compare Batman Inc #13 with Batman and Robin #16. Go ahead. Do it.

the way Talia was shot by some random woman out of nowhere. Has she even been in this comic in the last, like, three years? I didn't like how, after such a long run on Batman, and setting Talia up as one of the biggest villains he's ever faced, Batman isn't even the one to beat her.

Also the infinity books. At least Infinity Gauntlet. But yeah, Annihilation, Annihilation Conquest, Nova and obviously Guardians of the Galaxy are what you want. I recommend a Marvel Unlimited subscription.

This is more depressing than rage inducing. I've met this news with resignation, really. Everything that I love about comics will eventually be washed away by assholes that don't have a clue as to what they're doing.
