Everyone needs to be reading Animal Man, Action Comics, Swamp Thing, Stormwatch, Batman and Demon Knights. Especially Demon Knights. I'm really scared that book is going to be one of the books that gets canceled.

"Of Christ's twelve Apostles Judas alone proved to be traitor. But if he had acquired power, he would have represented the other eleven Apostles as traitors, and also all the lesser Apostles whom Luke numbers as seventy." - Leon Trotsky

I have a blog. This is its URL. You should read it. It's about education and skepticism and books and it has a lot of pictures of Batman and Robin in it: https://baldermoon.wordpress.com/

...ummm...what are you getting at?

Also, I've read Final Crisis around five times, and I've just now realized that Darkseid called him Superman, instead of his usual "Kal-El."

Just the manifestation of Darkseid as a bunch of colors.

Actually now that I look at it the red hooded lady's colors are just red and blue in that first image.  https://www.blogcdn.com/www.comicsalliance.com/media/2011/10/0flashpoint1-1318429578.jpg

I think you're reaching like crazy. Besides, Darkseid is already being involved in the New 52 with Justice League.

Anything on Sentry coming back yet?

I know how they work

Nothing yet.  Dark Avengers are being reformed, but no Sentry.

I'm very anxious whenever I hear Sentry mentioned, simply because I'm afraid that he'll turn out to be Miracleman and then I'll suddenly see red and wake up somewhere in New York, covered in blood and wondering why everyone's talking about how a fat comic book publisher was eaten alive.

If anything, Miracleman will prevent him from ever coming back.  I thought they killed him in Siege for the sole purpose of it, but given that they've done NOTHING with the character aside from a one shot from over a year ago, I guess not.

I'm writing my own Sentry solo series in my head.  First time I've ever wanted to actually write comics.

I'm Catbug!

The only series I've been following currently are the Fear Itself anchor mini-series and the Alpha Flight miniseries. I'll be picking up the epilogue series though as soon as it starts coming out.

However, in spite of always being a Marvel fanboy, I've decided to take a chance on DC with their "New 52", however the only one I had any interest in is Superboy.

To be honest, I hate comic books, because I hate picking something up in the middle and attempting to decipher it as I read along, hence why the New 52 is a boon for someone like me who wants to like comic books (like I used to as a kid...except I only ever read Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge comics as a kid). I can start from the beginning and at least some semblance of an idea of what's going on.

Wow.  Kudos to Brian Azzarello.  I think today's issue of Wonder Woman is the first time I ever read WW in my life and thought "I actually want to read more of this."  Could he finally be the one to make the title fun and interesting?

Also Batman and Nightwing were both amazing.  Supergirl was fun but a step down from last month, Justice League was pretty but I'm getting kind of tired of Geoff Johns at this point.

And apparently Superman just fights a lot of other heroes upon meeting them for no good reason.

I wasn't a huge fan of Fear Itself (I thought it kind of sucked), but it sure had some great Captain America moments.

I've always hated the "avengers assemble" line.  It doesn't make any sense.
