The King's orders are absolute

It was still a good episode though. Hit a lot of the right notes. I'm so glad this show is back.

Let's Play Chrono Trigger
Let's Play The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
Let's Play Final Fantasy VI

Somebody loves ya.

Maybe everyone already knows, but: Last Thursday's episode drew about 4.89 million viewers with a 2.2 18-49 demo rating, generously exceeding all expectations. It was helped by the fact that it wasn't going against The Big Bang Theory, but it was right alongside The Office and blew past what 30 Rock was getting in this timeslot. My personal theory is that putting the show in hiatus actually WORKED, building buzz in its absence and allowing NBC time to launch a big promo push.

Pop pop.

Big Bang Theory sucks so much for a long time now, I don't get why anyone still watches it.

Don't think putting show on hiatus worked, I think it just wasn't up against a lot of other stuff. Community isn't a show that you can channel surf into and instantly "get" what's going on, so it doesn't really pick up viewers at random like that.

Because it's become a generic sitcom that caters to the lowest common denominator type of viewer. Who sadly still make up the majority of the television watching populace.

The shows use of subtlety warms my heart everytime. Seeing Abed and Troy in the ivory wig and kick puncher mask made me giddy inside. So incredibly happy its back.

Side note: Leonard is my favorite background character.

I know I know, but people who should be otherwise "smarter" about shows like BBT still think it's funny too.
That is, until I get them watching Community.

Verily enjoyed "normal" Troy & Abed

This episode was random, I laughed way too hard at this

Though I gotta say the whole thing of Jeff being "good looking" is tiring, I can't suspend my disbelief.

The Deangasm was the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

Here's how I feel about Jeff/Joel.  He's not really Hollywood pretty - but if he walked into a room in real life my jaw would hit the floor.  So in a show set in a community college, I can accept all the attention he gets.  I REALLY loved Annie's reaction to Jeff tearing open his shirt: horrified then subtle lust.

Feel sorry for you man, he's like a 5 when my gym is full of 7-10s. Helps that I work in the fashion district of my city (all major agencies within a 4 block radius) but still!

Evil Abed only existed in the darkest timeline! GAH! This is not good.

Massachusetts is not the land of the pretty.

Well, wherever Joel McHale falls on whoever's rating scale, I still want the man's pecs.
