Tonight's ep was AWESOME.

John Goodman is the best new thing about season 3.  I love everything about his character.  Except the name, because I can never remember it.  But he's so great!

I was hoping for more pillow/blanketfort coverage, focus was more on the Troy/Abed tension :/

Somebody loves ya.

Britta had no lines in this episode and was somehow still hilarious.

I just can't see the Britta is awful jokes ever getting old.  They're pure gold.

Really loved Jeff picking up the imaginary hats.  Made me feel all fuzzy.

Ken Burns would be proud of last night's episode.

Keith David is the man, man:

"The North Cafeteria, named after Admiral William North, is located in the western portion of East Hall, gateway to the western half of North Hall, which is named, not after William North, but for its position above the South Wall. It is the most contested and confusing battlefield on Greendale’s campus, next to the English Memorial Spanish Center, named after English Memorial, a Portuguese sailor that discovered Greendale while looking for a fountain that cured syphilis."

Was that Dan Harmon, btw?

Leonard likes this post.

This was a great episode. I was a little worried about how the episode would be since the whole blanket fort concept was used in season 2 already, but what they did with it was just pure gold. One of the best episodes of the season for sure, maybe even the series as a whole.

Let's Play Chrono Trigger
Let's Play The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
Let's Play Final Fantasy VI

So happy there was a ton of pillow/blanketfort action in this ep, even though it was in war documentary style. So good!

anyone else notice the daybreak ref?

Funnily enough, a week before that ^ episode aired, I was watching a YouTube clip of the scene from earlier in the season where Annie accidentally steps on and breaks Abed's super-special edition of The Dark Knight, and Troy comes out of his room humming that song. Incidentally, the comments for that video informed me of the title of the song; So by happenstance, the reference was not lost on me when Real Neil with pipes of steel played it on the school's P.A.. So meta.

In regards to last week's episode, did Gillian Jacobs get some surgery done on her face or something? I was watching episodes from Season 1 recently, and Britta's sooooo much more expressive back then, especially with her eyebrows. I still love her though. And her hair nowadays is just fabulous. It's like Thor's Avengers hair.

Also in regards to last week's episode, I dunno about you, but Annie's boobs (not Annie's Boobs) are really distracting.

Distracting in the best way.

But:  yes.  It's been so consistent I'm assuming it's going to be a plot point or joke later on.
