Hopefully they can find that balance between the realities to both characters.

They're using Dark Knight Returns as inspiration? Uh oh...

I would rather see a MOS 2 to be honest. I think WB is thinking way too far ahead. We barley got to know the Clark/Kal-El character and now they are doing crossovers?

Yeah, this has me worried.  That, and I don't like the idea that Superman and Batman interact and inhabit the same universe in general.  But mostly the DKR thing.

On the other hand, assuming it's anything like Man of Steel, it'll have a lot of cool visuals.

Hilarious. I think it's cute that DC wants to try and rival what Marvel has been able to accomplish.

It's worked in the comics, it's worked in the DCAU, but I can't help think this'll be a hot, hot mess.

I never watched Man of Steel but I was told that Superman was no longer weak to kryptonite or that they removed it entirely from the new universe they created. So how would a movie like this work? How would any Batman villain compete against Superman, or Batman against a Superman villain? They just seem to be leagues apart now (more than before).

He's still got the kryptonite weakness, but they refused to use it or even reference it in the movie because it had been done to death in Superman 1-IV. a great decision imo.

Synder intentionally powered down Superman a little in the movie too. Sure he's powerful, but he's not going to be moving planets. There's even a scene where

Spoiler: Move your mouse over the container to reveal.

Zod's second in command gets knocked out by a missile.

I really don't want them fighting though, especially in some over the top fight scene. If you really have to have them face off, keep it brief like they did here:

In fact I'm with Shooter McGavin, in that I'd rather they did another film with just Superman, which maybe briefly hints at a team up for the next film. Like you make the Villain Lex Luthor, so you can have him have a meeting with Bruce Wayne, and then some after credit scene that has Clark get back to his appartment to find a Baterang in his wall or something.

Great men aren't everywhere, just where it counts.

If you ever see me online playing Halo, join me please.

First DareDevil, then SUPERMAN as George Reeve, and now BATMAN.  Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans thinks he's played too many comic book characters!
