The most important discussion thread in the history of the forums is now on FF Society, just in time for the fall season! Will it be a monster-sized hit like Laverne &amp; Shirley or sputter out like Joanie Loves Chanchi? IT'S UP TO YOU.

This season of Louie is incredible. Louis C.K. is somehow using a one-man sitcom to explore modern-day human connection and existensial despair while also telling masturbation jokes. I say "somehow" because that is how unbelieveable it is watching this show every week. The low-budget, 100% autonomous apprach Louis brings to the show allows him to take it places -- emotional, comedic, cinematic, geographical -- that are just out of the purview of anything else. Absolutely joins this years seasons of Community and Parks and Recreation as an unassailable troika of television comedy.

Get on the dick train, bitches!

I've been there, hombre.

I kept hearing all these good things about Louie, so I watched the entire first season and a few episodes of the second season, and I gotta say... I was really underwhelmed. I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't get what all the fuss is about. Sure, it's more honest and true-to-life than other sitcoms (especially on the single dad raising kids front), but it rarely made me laugh.

Let's Kill Hitler tomorrow! Hopefully Steven Moffat starts answering some questions in Doctor Who.

^ Doubt it, Moffat seems to follow the Lost method of answering a question with more questions. Not that I'm bothered, it seems to work better with Doctor who, and he doesn't overload us with too many questions.

Great men aren't everywhere, just where it counts.

If you ever see me online playing Halo, join me please.

<span style="color: #3366ff;">Actually, Moffat said in a recent interview that he's not really playing at being Lost. <a title="http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/08/22/steven-moffat-interview-doctor-who-season-7-amy-pond-river-song.html"; href="http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/08/22/steven-moffat-interview-doctor-who-season-7-amy-pond-river-song.html";>http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/08/22/steven-moffat-interview-doctor-who-season-7-amy-pond-river-song.html<;/a>

Torchwood (basically the last two episodes condensed):

1) Finally, progression! Actual, serious plot progression! Villains that are actually part of the plot! Hints at how, exactly, Jack is connected!

2) Oswald, get to the fucking point already, come onnnnnnnnnnn.

3) Are they ballsy enough to kill off Jack permanantly?

^ Problem with Jack is if Torchwood is staying connected to the Doctor Who universe we already know when he dies,.

Eh, there's enough ambiguity with the Face of Boe stuff that they could backpedal it if they wanted to. They won't, but they could.

Yeah there's not really anything to it other than a one-off line in one episode, it's not like the Face was all "I am Jaaaaaaaaaack Haaaaaaaaaaarknessssssss".

Not that I think it'll happen, or don't think he's the Face. Just it's not solidly concrete in the canon (which is pointless, because of timey wimey stuff).

Don't forget Jack is suppose to be one of those fixed point events, So when he dies can't be changed. It does annoy me though, because if we know he can't die yet, why keep putting him in peril. It's begginng to get boring, just like how Moffat keeps doing it to Rory in Doctor Who.

Only one episode left of Entourage. I have no idea how they plan on resolving everything in a 25 min episode. &gt;.&gt;

Maybe they won't resolve everything. The creator wants to make a movie as well, so he might save some things for that. I mean, I hope not, but that might happen.

Amnesia Vertigo

Here are a few off the top of my head:

  • I'm really interested to see where South Park goes with the second half of Season 15. First half ended on a shitty (lol) note.
  • I love The League. Can't wait for it to come back, even better with El Cunado.
  • It's Always Sunny has been really crappy the last two seasons. I like what I see from the previews for this season.
  • Happy Endings. Great show, hope it gets a season 3.
  • How I Met Your Mother - goes without saying.
I'm looking forward to other old favorites and some new shows as well.

Lately every episode of Doctor Who is a war between Rory and River to see which of the two of them is more awesome.

"Oh! Give me guilt! ... Also guilt. MORE GUILT." Bwahahah.
